Recently watched Malal after reading recommendations, mostly because its only 15 episodes, so it is bound to be very compact.
I really loved Deepti Gupta as an actor,the portrayal of a working women equally good at doing household chores and work is rare. Jamal knowing and helping with household chores even after being well versed with his research is another USP of this show.
Also this may be the only show in which I could empathize with Sarwat Gillani.I loved the character of Mahi and respected her decision to not stay with Danish.
I thought this show was really progressive and except for Daniel and his mother rest of the characters were actually very good.I was surprised when Mahi's parents supported her!! That really stuck with me!! ZGH and Malal are two shows which are very practical. Do you know of any other such show which shows a beautiful relationship and is not about MIL/DIL or sister or Sautan rivalry.
