I agree with Imran. A lot of the shows dealing with such issues are all for ratings, otherwise nearly all of them don't make sense.

If the shows deal with these issues in a proper way, there's nothing wrong with it but that's clearly not happening (for the most part).

exactly, that is the point, if only they dealt with it the right way 👏 enough of the Chup raho nonsense.
Are the men in our society really that narrow minded that rape will make them fall out of love with with their wives? 😕
We need stories which are above that, where men be IT father, brother of husband stands up with the victim and not make the victim feel shameful. They are "victims". They need support.
The writers should watch a few episodes of law and order SVU, and learn a few things.

I wish they actually taught society a lesson instead of showing what is already happening

I agree as Drama hour in Pakistan used to be the Family Hour and it still has that importance here with wide range of audience

I agree with his views. Sick of the two wives or two girls liking same guy or rape/violence but shown in a bad light. Wish they could focus on real issues. Focus on reality.

Yeah it's the way these topics are depicted. Surprisingly...no one knows how to give these kind of topics proper treatment...especially these rape stories where even the psychiatrists have no brain or heart.

Haven't been watching any dramas lately so can't comment on any specifics but if you must tackle the issue of rape it must be done so with a reasonable level of fidelity in addresment not because it's the 'in' topic to show to garner high viewership, don't play about with such a serious issue. When you levy an allocation of contrite decadence perceivable enough, the perforation surfaces in some form or another, thereby betraying the subject at hand.
