I had never seen the promos of ZGH, coz I wasn't into TV watching, but I don't know how I happened to watch promo of Aunn-Zara and it seemed cute. Back then there was just few of us on the forum and they were good old days.I had vacations and 5 minutes before 8 I never allowed anyone to come near tv.It was ZGH time.I don't even remember when was the last time I behaved like this for a tv show.

I honestly didnt even imagine I'd be so attached to it. And TBH,like Shreya said in my mind I was like "Yeh Fawad hai kya cheez" 😆 and then he completely bowled me over. Needless to say,Kashaf was like me on the tv screen. I instantly loved Kashaf. Never had I seen a logical feminist as the heroine in ANY show.

Its always about Abla Naari and us par hote atyachaar and how she is ALWAYS right no matter what she does and how she is a goddess. Good lord. Spare me.

Kashaf was a breath of fresh air.

You know when the promos used to play I was like the heroine looks ordinary and hero looks cute but thats it. Then when it started airing I connected with Kashaf and her situation INSTANTLY. She was so ME. Being a woman its important for me to connect with the female lead to like a show.

Fawad was still a cute guy but what's the big deal type. Its only in the later episodes he and his character grew on me.

I am always drawn towards characters who express their choices. Since we dont see much of that in regular Indian TV shows I am attracted to towards those heroines who atleast fall for the hero first. Hence Jassi(JJKN), Nakusha(LTL), Urmi(ACHPM) have been my favorites because atleast thru their love their express their choices. But Kashaf has had the best CONNECT.

Since all are talking abt ZGH, I hve my share of story too! 😆😆 Initially, I saw more of a fleeting glance of the ZGH Promo when Zindagi was just abt to begin. The we had the promos of Zindagi going on, Initially I was more intrested in Aunn-Zara.😳 I still remember that big portion of my morning newspaper which had Zindagi's Shows. For Aunn-Zara it was Just Married and for ZGH, There was an oil painting of both ZaShaf and had a caption Sarhad Paar Se Do Dilon Ki Dastaan.. I wasnt intrested then too..😆 My frnd few days later had told me on the phone to watch ZGH as it was a masterpiece. I didnt gave heed again..😆 And then days later while flipping thru channels when I saw ZGH and there was no looking back since! 😃 Twitter was going crazy wid Fawad's praises, I was like? Who is this guy? Girls were OMG! He luks lyk Tom Cruise..!! 😆 And I was still like, Aisa Kya Hai Isme? Even when I saw him! 🤣 But then Zaroon started growing on me.. And I fell into Fawad's Land! 😳

oh yes, it wasnt love at first sight with fawad for me as well😳 its the "actor" fawad who cast a bigger spell..dare I say, his acting overshadows his looks and makes me more likeable..and hot☺️

as for kashaf, there cant be a more relatable, flawed female lead, and applauses for umera ahmed, she always creates characters which are so close to real people, so relatable, so flawed..<3 and this is definitely sanam's career best along with talkhiyaan JMO..
