dil e nadan is one of the famous pieces of poetry or poems of mirza ghalib..so its not copy or co incidence...they used it in both the songs..

Yes queen of hearts is right. Dil e nadaan is a famous ghazal by Mirza Ghalib. Many people have sung it before and it still is being sung by many singers in different ways. Although bollywood does a lot of charba but this is not the one.

This gazal was written by Mirza Ghalib & was originally sung by Talat Mehmood & Suraiya for the Indian movie Mirza Ghalib (1954).
IMO, none of these new singers can match up to the likes of Talat sahab!!

As mentioned above, it is a ghazal of Mirza Ghalib.. never heard it as a song before seeing this thread ... :)

I think it is just like the famous folk song "Jugni" .. it is sung n composed by numerous times in India n Pakistan both...😳
