Assalam-o-Alikum Everyone,

I will try to post a Ramadan Tip everyday. Everyone is welcome to share any tip or Quranic verse or Hadith here. Thanks for appreciating.

Sarah!

1- Allow Ramadan to be a time of contemplation. Focus on strengthening your weaknesses, as well as attempting to correct your mistakes and faults.

QURANIC WORD OF THE DAY:

'IDHAM = BONES

('ayn, Dha', alif, mim)

Aya'dukum annakum idha mittum wa kuntum turaban wa 'idhaman annakum mukhrajuna

23:35 "Does he promise that when ye die and become dust and bones, ye shall be brought forth (again)?

2- Pay heed to Salat il Taraweeh. Try to pray Taraweeh as much as possible, and in congregation (Jamaa'). Rasuallah (S) said: Whomever prays with the Imam from start to finish--recieves agr from Allah as if they stayed up the entire night doing 3ibada.

QURANIC WORD OF THE DAY:

HUDAN = GUIDANCE

(ha', dal, alif maqsura )

Dhalika al-kitabu la rayba fihi hudan lil muttaqina

2:2 This is the Book; in it is guidance sure, without doubt, to those who fear Allah.

3- Avoid spending too much money on trivial things, for spending excessively is prohibited. Also, spending too much will prevent you from giving sadaka (charity)--which is valueable sawab that one can benefit from in Ramadan.

4- Make the intention to continue to do what you do during Ramadan (reading quran, nafl salat, du3a2, obstaining from wrong, etc) even AFTER Ramadan is over. Remember, Allah SWT is present during every month of the year--not just Ramadan.

Quranic Words of the Day:

YUHIBBU = HE LOVES
(ya', Ha', ba' with shaddah)

Qul in kuntum tuhibbuna Allah fa ittaba'uni yuhbibkumu Allahu wa yaghfir lakum dhunubakum wa Allahu ghafurun rahimun

3:31 Say: "If ye do love Allah, Follow me: Allah will love you and forgive you your sins: For Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful."

Qul in kuntum tuhibbuna Allah fa ittaba'uni yuhbibkumu Allahu wa yaghfir lakum

HATTA = UNTIL
(Ha, ta' with shaddah, alif maqsura [the ya' with no dots] )

'afa Allahu 'anka lima adhinta lahum hatta yatabayyana laka al-ladhina sadaqu wata'allama al-kadhibina

9:43 Allah give thee grace! why didst thou grant them until those who told the truth were seen by thee in a clear light, and thou hadst proved the liars?
