DOTW:Indo-Pak Dramas-Are they Attractive

Well dunt know why but...Indo-Pak soaps never attracted me.....

I have never watched completly an Indo-Pak production wether its Sun Leyna,ANA,or Kabhi Naa Kabhi!

I wuld prefer to watch a mega Pakistani serials with big Pakistani Stars like Nadeem or Talat Hussain rather then watching any Indo-Pak Soap!

Well i think that the storylines r completly pathetic and dont catch the intereset of viewers dat much(Sorry if anyone minds this but its true)!

I hate the dramas which r made under Fahim Burneys Direction!

Watching Tina-Parekh(Shruti of KGGK)on Ary Digital is nothin speacial becuaz i have saw her a thrillion timeS!

Wat do u guyz say tht does Pakistan has lack of talent so thtz why the Directors sign Indian Artistes?

Even Maria Wasti said tht as they media ppl thought tht takin Indian actors will boost up the viwership...tht didnt happened!

On this issue, I would have to agree with Maria Wasti's point of view.

You are right.. Indo-Pak dramas never appeal to me too.. I find the storylines of such, weak and the acting somehow seems to be lacking.

In their own mediums, Indo actors as well as Paki ones are brilliant however meshed together something seems to be a bit off..

Tina, Amna and Rajeev may be a craze in Pakistan for their particular Indian shows but when placed in Pakistani serials they seem to lose their charms.

Thats just my take on it, however I have yet to view a complete Indo Pak serial without wanting to shoot someone for over or under acting!

i also agree with u too i also dont like drama or soaps of fahim burneys production or direction i think the main reason of their failure according to my point is that director and script writer are theirselves so much confused to how to manintain a balance between the characters of indian and pakistani actors in that khencha tani story becomes so absurd and ridiculous usually ppl used to see drama because of its big mega star cast but by doin this their patience really have been checked sometimes even u look so stupid to ur self while wactching these kinds of bakwas dramas no offence but in these days while watching drama dharkan my GOD its so difficult to digest its utt pattang story i was just watching that drama just bcos of imran abbas but while doing this i also lost my whole interest in him as well i m sorry but pakistanis actors are looking so stupid being impressed from indian cast including my ex fav. actor imran abbas

Well, I agree with you. I watch indo/paki serials only if they have good actor/actress like maria wasti, hamyun saeed, faisal Q, Imraan abaas, asad..etc

I didn't watch SUNLENa because I found the story boring but i watched ANA because it had hamyun saeed/javeeria jaleel and the drama was interesting.

thank god finally i hear the good news that it is not just me who loathe the soaps,,,,u know earlier a good drama used to be max 12 episodes ,,,nowadays however some of the most pathetic dramas / soaps run to many many ,,,,,,i think people just find them boring and stupid,,,,,,,,there is no real story or moral to any of the dramas these days,,,,the last good drama i watched was wujood e larib by sakina with faisal querishi in it,,,,and it was fantastic,,,,,,,,,,it is filled with family values, love, friendship, hardship,trust and most of all believing in god,,,,,,that is what i see as something worthwhile to show and promote especially to our younger generations!!!!!!!!!

i agree with all you people...if only paki actors and actresses are workin then i watch the whole show(till the end)...but when pak/indian mix workin..damn it just runins the story and i dunno....i just dont like it..

i agree....as a bunch of u know...im strictly aganist indo-pak dramas...i didnt watcg SLN, TIM or dharkan..i watched random episodes of KNK. the only indo-pak drama i watched completely and enjoyed was Ana...and tht dusnt have anything 2 do with it having indian actresses...if amna haq or sadia imam or mahnoor balooch or ne of the other pakistani actresses replaced nausheen ali sardar and amna sharif, the show wud have been even better..i watched it cuz it had many of my favorite pakistani actors (humayun saeed, talat hussain, javeria jalil, sameena pirzada, ahsan khan) and i liked the storyline

but overall..i dun think there is a need 4 starring indian celebz in pakistani dramas...wat happened 2 all d pakistani ppl? pakistan is full of talented actors...y do we need 2 look for actors frm across da border?

i agree with u lil princez.....pak has a lot of talented ppl too, so they could bring them in the dramaz...but ugh..they have to go in other countries, and find ppl......i mean i dont care if indos are in pak dramaz, but the only prob is that they mess it up! then the indian dressing and all comes in pak dramaz.......hmm 😡
