Someone who has read the novel may be able to better explain the story as I haven't read the novel.

but from whatever I've heard/read about others reading it..it seems to be a story about two sisters and a guy who I think is their cousin. The guy's name is Iritaza while one sister's Saman (the elder one), and the younger one is Saba.

The guy marries the elder sister because of her good nature etc but has always had this deep connection with the younger sister, Saba as well. Saba though always loved Iritaza and I think she doesn't digest the fact that her sister ends up marrying the guy she liked. Saman dies later on, and then they show who Iritaza realizes that he also had feelings for Saba.

It's something of that sort..I personally didn't really get the story to be honest. 😆

if someone else who has read the novel, wants to clarify or summarize it better, then please do.

I feel Farhat's stories highly depend upon the cast and the direction. Personally, I felt Mata e Jaan had a better story than Humsafar..yet Humsafar did better..the execution of Humsafar was better displayed while Mata e Jaan lacked substance in many places.

I think this too isn't anything different. This show more or less will bank on the direction and cast and whether or not people will accept the cast. 😆 People still seem to whine over the casting for MeJ.

Umera is the only writer who despite the cast or director can stand out on her own. I don't see that happening with other writers to be honest. Everything has to work with them, and a lot of times people forget the writers in those cases...especially those who have not read the novel.

Though they are some random people who still say they prefer MeJ over Humsafar because of the story😆. Guess people who are not into direction and cast much do that

I liked MeJ's story..I think it was better than Humsafar..but the whole product wasn't as great as Humsafar.
