if you go back to the beginning of this thread, you will see that i was one of the supporters of this drama...i love the scenes shot in pakistan...and everyone was doing a fab job...but lately the drama has become a drag...some scenes like the zaibu chinky scene in which she convinces him to play the role of her boyfriend was not done right...dont expect that from sarmad...anyways i also think neelum isnt that bad...mehreen is😆...and deenga, why is he there?Originally posted by: starstruckk
I don't agree with many of the reviews here. They make it seem like besides Fawad there's nothing else to watch in this drama. I honestly think everyone is doing a decent job..the problem with this drama is the storyline and sadly enough some of the direction (even though I love Sarmad)..but to say that only Fawad can act and thus people watch this drama..isn't true.
I've watched every episode and while I think Fawad's good..I think Neelum is quite awesome herself. This girl is so underrated it's baffling. I think she has improved so much and is doing really well. The fact that Neelum usually ends up getting the least likable roles doesn't go in her favor either...but I really thinkk she's good. To prove my point further..Bushra Ansari came on Faisal Qureshi's morning show a while back and said she loves Neelum and thinks she's a great young talent..to the extent that Neelum's acting in Jalpari gave her the chills. At least I know I'm not the only one who thinks she's good..and this comes from someone like Bushra Ansari. And, indeed Neelum was quite incredible in Jalpari..sadly, it was such an underrated drama.
