Do you know Fawad Khan was the first choice for the role of Sikander in Mehreen Jabbar's serial "Neeyat" and he even signed for the project but due to US visa issues could not make it on time and on eleveth hour Humayun Saeed stepped into his shoes as Sikander to be saviour of his production Neeyat under the banner sixth sigma. If Fawad Khan had played the character of Sikander Neeyat would have been his first serial opposite Mahira Khan before Humsafar.

What's up with Mehreen's dramas and the cast changes? Mahira was supposed to do Malal but she turned Pregnant... 😆

I guess Fawad couldn't do Maata-e-Jaan because of Visa issues too..

I'm glad he didn't do Neeyat though.. it was a boring screenplay with medicore acting.. It needed better presentation and deeper work on itt. Humsafar all the way for their debut together.

I'm glad they debuted with Humsafar or Neeyat would've killed it..nothing against the show, but just not the best package to have the two acting together 😆

aha, i remember Humayaun Saeed talking about this thing on GMP, he didnt mentioned the name but he said that the actor they chosed had US visa issues and all, thats why they had to do the last minute changings. even Mahira khan was present there, and i really gave this show a chance because of her, liked her in BOL and she is my fav VJ too ❤️ but the show didnt cliked for me, dunno maybe i am not so found of theese foreign-made-shows :| buh i am GLAD that Humsafar was their debut togheter. WOOP WOOP 😃
