Friday the thirteenth is an unlucky day A rabbit's foot brings good luck If a black cat crosses your path you will have bad luck To break a mirror will bring you seven years bad luck Fate is written in the stars Wearing your birthstone will bring you good luck An itchy palm means money will come your way Crossing your fingers helps to avoid bad luck and helps a wish come true
• Touching wood will save the bad omen

These common superstitions are believed by many people, some believe these are only irrational thoughts and for some, cultural based.

Lets discuss what these are to you?

Also, is this a part of shirk? (shirk = Implying that there is another force equal to Allah) As I have seen people touching the wood instead of saying Mashallah, or Crossing the fingers instead of Inshallah...

i think these superstitions are pointless and irrational there is no logic 2 thm and i dunno y ppl follow thm and yea it is a kind of shirk cuz ur believing tht there is a suerior being tht will help u and tht is givig Allah's rights 2 sum1 else

i dont belive in all tht but a huge amount of ppl in pakistan belive on tht and they destroy their lives

i dont believe them i think its a waste of time but the stars thing, i think there's some truth in it but ppl shouldnt believe them blindly as they can be wrong

i dun really beleive in them lolz
but yeh alot of pple do... i guess im just NOT one of them

I don't really believe in the ones listed above, there's no point to those beliefs.But I do believe in things like if u don't say Mashallah phir nazar lag jaati hai n stuff like that, iunno some ppl say that that also counts as being superstitious. I don't think it is.

They consider words like "Mashallah" N "Inshallah" as superstitions??

I dont believe,But i believe in saying MAshallah and Inshallah becoz we r really suppose to say these worda and yeh they r super. and it is mentioned in Islam .Many ppl might not be knowing thiz but frm now on wards i hope k u know 😊

I blv in saying INSHALLAH N MASHALLAH bt nt all dat superstitions k kali billi aur safaid billi 😃
