MEHNDI.....I didnt watch this drama but mehndi is a symbol of happiness & love. I agree to everyone here and as Juvi n Maha n Farhana aunty said, I think Mehndi in the serial symbolizes life, esp of married women as Maha said, and it color can symbolize fate, as they say... cuz its color changes so does life n fate, n its not same for everyone.. sometimes fills in color in life full of happiness n sumtimes fades away like a death.

but what about those who are not married or who are widows. some women never get married, tu jo un keh hathon per mehndi ka rung hoga, woh kis keh liye hoga??

aur jin keh hathoon per mehndi ka rang nahian aata, kya woh apnye husband saye pyaar nahain karti?

is it right to judge or measure woman's love for her hubby, by the colour of her mehndi?

first of all i dont think if one puts Mehndi on it means it's for their "Suhag", thats just rubbish

anyone who wears it is for themselves, i dont put Mehndi on coz i dont like it n well if i do it will be for my own sake, with my own wish to do so not for someone
