Its time we ALL face reality --Disscusion

Whatever I am about to say is 100% MY OWN OPINION.

I know the recent earthquake has not only shaken up all of Pakistan, but us all Muslims around the world. Its sad, its devastating, and its heart-breaking. No innocent lives should be taken the way they were and no child should loose their parents in such a harsh way. BUT we ourselves as Pakistani's and most importantly as Muslims are to be blames for such a catastrophe.

I know I may be sounding harsh here, but its true. This earthquake is the result of our own stupidity. By this I mean we try so hard to be modern and in the past couple of years have started to incorporate "western" customs and traditions in our culture, that we fogot who we are. NO, we don't belive in gay marriages, NO we do not show off our body be wearing revealing clothes, YES we have arrange marriage and NOT love marraige, etc. These are just a few examples of how not only Pakistan, but our Muslims in Pakistan have changed. When did you hear of a pakistani muslim woman doing a vulgar kissing scene in a indian movie (meera)?, when did you see a gay muslim couple get married IN PAKISTAN? and when did you hear of a "miss pakistan" in a two-piece?

What I am trying to say is that Pakistan tried to adopt the western culture and result..........the earthquake. This is just a forshadow from God of what will and can happen should Pakistan continue to slip away from Islamic cutoms and traditions. YOU CAN'T BLAME THIS ONE ON OSAMA can you? NO, This is a natural disaster that only God himself can control.

I live in Canada. Seeing two people (whether they be gay or straight) is pretty normal. BUT hey.....that's western culture for you. People date, get married, have boyfriend and girlfriends and no one cares. But to have the exact same things go on in an Islamic country it nothing but utterly disgusting.

I know I'm not the most religious person in the world and probably know only 40% about what Islam is really about and what is a "good muslim", but I can tell right from wrong. Its amazing how exactly 5 days after a gay marriage took place, Pakistan got hit with such a massive earthquake. These my friends are pure indications of Judgement Day. If you don't believe me, read the Qu'ran. Im not a perfect Muslim, but I try to be at least a good one. I wouldn't dare think of having a boyfriend, kissing a guy or even wearing revealing clothes (such as tank-tops or shorts)........and I was born and raised in Canada.

I'm not saying Pakistan deserved this horrible tragedy, but always watch out for what's coming. US was cocky and that's where the #1 all sorts of baadmashi takes place (no offence to any indian/pakistani americans, I am talking specifically about america as a country in general) and what happend, September 11. I know that wasn't a natural disaster but done by an actual person, but if God wanted, He could have stopped it. What I am trying to say is that we all need to find that loveable wholesome country we know as Pakistan. Its gonna take years to get over this and move on, but we can always start by becoming a "born again Muslim".

It breaks my heart to see innocent people having their lives ruined because of stupid people who tend forget who they are and what religion they belong too. We should be spreading Islam all over.....not killing it by resorting to "other cultures". Look at people like Nigar Khan (both of them), Rakshanda Khan, all Pakistani Lollywood actresses, Meera, Sana, all pakistani models like Amina Haq, Vaneeza what's her name, etc. Are these women what represent Islam? Are they what the "ideal muslim" should be?

Again, this is ALL my own opinion. I am not pointing fingers at any race, culture or religion. I am just trying get my aggression out because the more we erase the meaning of Islam and forget that we are Muslim, there will be a line up of more earthquakes to come.

If I have offended anyone I appologize in advance. I just hate seeing Muslim people act so rude, vulgar and disrespectful to our religion.

Please comment on your opinions of why you think this earthquake happened. It happened for a reason, and we are just being blind to see what that reason may be.

I wouldn't be surprised. From what I here, Sept 11 was all a set-up. Kinda like how when Neil Armstrong went to the moon was a set-up (from what I here) not what I know. But that's interesting about the whole insurance money thing, But if this is true, then whoever owned the WTC had not heart or humanity to have let so many innocent people died. This is the point I am trying to make..........what is world coming too? An end? Its all in God's hands now.

seeing all these "muslim" women on tv and in magazines such as the 1z u mentioned and many more really makes u wonder...r they really muslim?..do they really believe in Islam?...i know no1 has the right to question any1'z faith b/c that decision is in Ahhal's hands but come on...revealing clothes..out partying n overly mixed gatherings...and the scenes they do on tv..well dunno wat 2 say abt them either. yes they r all good actresses/models wateva but cant they entertain us more decently?...like in the older times..wen u cud watch family dramas with ur whole family...

guys i remember now that it wasn't that he had to pay off money it this that in few years time he had to rebuild that building coz the material and all the gaurentee thing was about to finish so he decided to do it this way so that he won't have to pay n rebuild.

when 9/11 thing happened only MUSLIMS were present in the building...all the others, some went on holiday 1 or 2 days beofre n most of them took leave on that day
