1. do you think Beauty (of beauty and the beast)is the noblest of all heroines cos she chose to truely love a beast??? why???
Yes. because she saw the inner beauty of the beast that others failed to see. It makes us, the viewers/readers to think there is truth in the saying "Beauty is only skin deep." 2. What is the most cheeky/naughty thing you have done when you were a teenager. (hey, the APGS knows a lot about SMV vice versa )
Would climb up a fruit tree at a friends house, pluck the fruits eat and throw skin on others below, instead of throwing them the fruit. (I know that, that is why I am not saying anything that happened at either APGS or SMV😉)3. tell us something that will annoy you as a gardener?
When I see the leaves being eaten by insects. 4. if you had just enough room to plant either pumpkins or watermelon...which would you choose and why. solid vetti kostin illaya???
Watermelon because they are tasty and I don't like pumpkins. 5. do you think the grass is greener on the other side cos they take better care of it???
Yes. In Oklahoma, in the late winter/early spring like now, I would see that on one side of the freeway the grass is green and lucious and on the opposite site just dry and brown. I was confused at first but after asking some farmers, they said it is because they take good care of it. You see these green grass are for grazing by the cattle. 6. what is the difference between the holy basil, the sweet basil, italian basil, thai basil and our plain and beautiful tulsi???
The holy basil has a special place in the homes and is seen as the representation of Goddess. The other basils we use for garnishing and cooking. The plain and beautiful basil, I think has the most beautiful aroma and has many ayuvedic uses. What ever said, basil is basil to me. 7. as a kid, did you always spend your allowances on what you were supposed to??? why and why not??
I am from a middle class family. Being the oldest of 6 siblings, I had the responsibility to spend only on necessities. Never had the liberty to spend on what I liked. 8. do you have a favourite funny song, or rhyme or something like that that you used to sing with your friends or sing to your kids??? would you tell us why you dont sing it anymore and what the lyrics are??
I used to like the Malay rhyme - Enjit Jit semut siapa sakit naik atas. But I cannnot sing it to my kids anymore because they don't understand the language. I miss it though, because when we were kids, my sisters and friends would play on the swing and sing this song all the time 9. who did you admire the most as a kid??? what was it about them that made you admire them, look up to them and love unconditionally?
I admired Mrs. Indira Ghandi and had always admired her. She instilled in me the feeling of independence at a young age. On the family front, it was my mother who had taught me that when you love someone, it should be an unconditional love and nothing else. There should be no expectance for anything. 10. you had written in an earlier answer that you were looking forward to becoming a gran. what is it that you look forward to??? children in the house, playing with them and reliving your children, of becoming a parent, or on a larger, wider and wiser canvas..the whole cycle of life recreating itself???
I would certainly love to become a grandparent but it is a long way to go. My girls are just now in High School. But I do love children and to have children around makes me happy and whole. Edited by patraj - 17 years ago
