Hi Elika
I for one, do not think badly of anyone, unless they prove to me otherwise. I am a bit frustrated that there a lots of silent readers out there, who won't register themselves just to thank the updaters. Let me tell you, it is not easy to watch video on internet and do the updates. It is really tough.
Most of us here are working and studying and very busy with our lives as well. Yet, many of us take time to thank the updaters for their massive contribution towards this forum. For eg Meli, Sri and Pokkiri are one of the biggest contributors in this forum. Guess what.....??? They are students and they have assignments/classes/hours of studying to do. Yet in between their busy schedule, they do find time to do updates or help others to do updates. So don't you think they deserve a big thank you and applause for their detailed updates?
About AK. We do appreciate his hardwork but if your hardwork comes across to the audience as crap, that means something is wrong somewhere. It is like you are working in the office, you know you worked hard on a project, yet your boss is not satisfied. So, do you resign or change job or improve your quality of work? I am sure you will choose the third option, before you choose the other two options. Otherwise, there is no bonus or increment for you this year. 😉
Similarly, your friend should encourage AK by telling him, that this what audience feel about his performance and in return AK should take it astride and improve the quality of his work. Like his pronounciation or his hairstyle. End of the day, he is facing the camera.
Abt DPriya, I don't like people criticising on a person's body look. Hey, I am not Ms World either. 😃 I really appreciate that DP can really dance and performs well. But what eirked lot of us here was there were mistakes she balantly did but Master Tharun gave her praise (apparently she is his favourite) but very much criticised other participants even though they did as well as her.
Then when she was doing her solo rounds, I for one went red. 😡 😡 As far as I am concerned she could have done better, instead of shaking her booty all the time. It was really annoying. She happens to be my favourite actress
So please take into heart, that we are not sitting here just to have pleasure in bitching about the actors/actresses. But as audience we too feel the frustrations. We sit infront of t.v. after hard day's work and need some entertainment to wind us down and there are people appearing in t.v. with overdramatic expressive mannerisms which shoots up our blood pressure.
They organised IIFA Awards in Malaysia, and the comperes came out in their best wardrobe. They looked elegant. They were in tradionals clothes as well as tuxedos. They spoke very clearly and very professionally. This is what I am talking about. You don't have to be in the audience to feel the magic. You can be in front of the t.v. and still feel the magic in the air.
With this being said, I hope you don't run off and become a silent reader again. Do join us when time permits. Btw, if you have time - go to Anandham thread and read the contributions in a topic "IF Code of Conduct".
