Parents - lost my father recently who was more of a friend to me. I miss his wisdom, his book reviews and a whole lot of things about him. Mom is in India.

Hubby - poor guy, married to maddie Roja for a long time, now he is
saddled with her Tuesday creations - comes back really late on CK days!!! Roja does not spare him, ofcourse😉

Children - 2 grown up daughters - very sane kids ( well, they have been seeing their mom and do not want to end up like her!!)

Grandkids - that is my dream - children, do u hear this?? I have a
secret feeling that they are not keen to marry and get kids - what if
the grand ma has a part to play in their growing years??? isn't one
Roja enough for this family???

Well, I will keep this aside for a while - I would add a few names to
this list - Come on, it is Roja who is getting grilled and she never does
any thing alone!!!😉

Well, I never hate any thing - esp when I know that all this is just reel
But, any thing that abuses children brings out the beast in me - since
the visual medium reaches every nook and corner, one such depiction
can cause harm beyond imagination - what if people start selling their kid just to buy a plot, a la Anjali serial? Roja shudders.

Books - my best friends; playing with 8 yr olds in my condo;

Hubby is one of those workaholics - never go on vacations - but Niagra
is my fav. spot - have been there twice but would not mind going again
and again - made me feel really small and the ride - "maid of the mist" is absolutely thrilling

Hi Roja, please help me out in this. In my line of service I do a lot of match making but the request of 90% of the grooms( who are dark) is for fair complexioned brides.

Their reasons are:
1.Black is ugly!
2. It will not help in their work place to display a dark wife.
3. little black kids running around is a total no no!
4.Black will never turn them on sexually.

How would you advise these mentally challenged grooms?

Ho, are u serious??? well, just tell them that
you have one whole load of pinkish fair girls
but alas, they all want to marry only fair guys!!!
The reasons: ditto by men with one addition - when
they fight for some reason, the wives might scratch
the hubbies and derive a lot of pleasure by looking
at those scratch marks on fair skins!!!! Seriously,
these guys are not fit for marriage which requires
a lot of maturity and sanity!!! They are better off
