Kadhir stood mesmerized at this heavenly touch and the smell of her gentle perfume kindled his emotions. As they walked together inside the office towards the elevator with reflecting doors, they saw themselves standing shoulder in shoulder making a perfect pair. Neither of them spoke as they got into the elevator , the silence was speaking thousand words. "This is the MD'd room, I will see you later Kadhir", Uma forces herself to leave kadhir. Kadhir looks a bit disappointed and says thank you. They walk in opposite directions each one looking back intermittently until they reach their respective destinations. Kadhir heaves a big sigh and gets into Rams' office.
Its been almost 10 minutes since kadhir came to Ram's room and he hasn't spoken a word. He was still floating In the memory of the past few minutes. Ram knew about Kadhirs feelings for Uma. You know what Kadhir, lets go out for lunch. You driveâŚOK. Not wanting to leave his soul which was a few cubes awayâŚillada Ram, lunch ellam vendam. Naan chumma onna parka thaan vanthen. As Ram and Kadhir wait outside the elevator near the reception, Uma steps out smiling at Ram and Kadhir. She looks around and asks where are the rest? Ram stammers and tells that only 3 of them are going and its to discuss about graphics for a new portal that Kadhir's company was starting. Uma is not convinced but she agrees to go with them, all the while stealing glances at Kadhir.
Kadhir's carâŚ.he opens the door for Uma and there it was the slight touch which provokes a spark within Kadhir. Ram sits in the front and Kadhir starts the car. Uma looks at the Hanuman statue in the dashboardâŚis happy that Kadhir like her is devotional too. No one is speaking except for the soft flute music. In the back seat are a bunch of familiar tamil novelsâŚâŚRam asks Kadhir to stop at a Chinese restaurant, it's a quiet place he says. All of them get down and walk inside. They choose to sit in a spacious booth âŚKadhir and Uma directly opposite to each other. Neither look up for fear of facing the otherâŚThey order spring rolls and drinks when Ram's cell rings. Ram takes the call , it was from his wife about their daughter needing to be picked up. "Sorry Kadhir, Uma I need to go get my daughter, lets talk about this portal some other time, you guys continue your lunch, have a good time. Uma I will be back in the office by 3.00 ok? Ok sir, take careâŚ.do you need any helpâŚshe asks with concern. Dei enna aachuâŚnaan venumna porenda , kadhir too offers. "IThats ok, naan parthukarenrâŚRam secretly winks at Kadhir and leaves.
Kadhir couldn't believe it, he remembered the concert when he and Uma chatted about music and there It was just another perfect moment to immerse in! Neither spoke and when Uma opened her mouth to say something the waiter came in with the spring rolls!
