Arjun Punj owes his success to Sanjivani

From February 2003 to date, my life has changed completely. It took a u-turn ever since I got my break on Sanjivani. I played Dr. Aman Khanna on the show. The soap, as well as my character, were extremely popular and for me, there has been no looking back since.Sanjivani catapulted me to a great height, money-wise as well; my other show Woh Rehne Waali Mehlon Ki, the magnum opus on Sahara was another path-breaker. If I am here today, it is because Sanjivani happened to me. I shared a great rapport with my directors and when they started work on Woh Rehne Waali... I was an obvious choice. However it must not sound like I have not done anything for it.I will also give myself credit by saying that it's my hard work that has given me what I have today. My parents have been a great support.That is not all. It was on the sets of the serial that I met Gurdip Kohli, who is very special to me. We are seeing each other now and hope to have a future together with her. I have all that I could have wished for. I am a contended man as far as television is concerned. Now I'm looking forward to a good film to come my way.As told to Shweta Teotia
