Two new family-oriented soaps launched

Sahara One launched two more family soaps, Zaara — Pyaar Ki Saugat and Ghar — Ek Sapna at a press conference held at Intercontinental the Grand hotel on Friday in the capital. Speaking at the launch Shantanu Aditya, CEO, Sahara One Television said, "It has always been our conscious effort to provide meaningful and entertaining programmes to our viewers and with the launch of these two shows we have not only revamped the primetime band, but have also expanded the viewing time." The conference was also attended by the lead actors of both the serials who shared their experiences with the media.

Talking about Ghar — Ek Sapna, Ajai Sinha, the director of the serial, says, "The show deals with the story of an innocent girl Kakul, the daughter of a very powerful political and business tycoon in Bihar. It opens with a wedding and explores the unusual relationship between a couple and unravels the colour of love and marriage that is both unique and universal."

Ajai Sinha, who is known for serials like Hasratein, Samay, Gudgudee and Astitva — Ek Prem Kahani among others, said that this is the first time he is working with Sahara One.
The other programme deals with the life of Zaara, an innocent young girl from a Muslim family, who is deeply in love with Samar and how she is being compelled by destiny to choose between the love for her sister and boyfriend
