Star Parivar or Ekta Parivar awards

Hi Guys what do you think of 'Star Parivar' awards show?

Glamour sells on TV, especially if you can parade host of seductive film stars in demeaning dance sequences. TV channels now have never-ending Film Awards shows - to quench the insatiable thirst of Indian public for glamour. Now the TV serials have joined the fray!

I was surprised to see the highly self-eulogising and chest beating show on Star Plus glamourising and unshamedly praising themselves! It looked like Ekta-Durbaar where one by one every one went on to the stage and relgiously vouched their gratitude and allegiance to Ekta Kapoor!!!!! Pre-independance era Britishers would feel embarassed by this human worship.

These type of shows are sickening and show the degenration of Indian TV.

Yeah True it is Ekta Parivar Awards.😛

bascially everyone who won were in the balaji shows and they all won and the ppl form other production house never got a award and i felt sad from them..........

This is totally inacceptable the only people other then Balaji got awards was Kumkum people its ridiculous😕

looks like time for me to play devil's advocate again...😊 before we go around slandering ekta and balaji for completely overtaking the function, let us take a few things in consideration

1) almost all the top popular shows on this channel are produced by ekta kapoor. in fact if you make the list of 15 most popular shows on all the channels, atleast half of them will be from balaji production house. given that since most awards are won by the popular shows, it is not unusual that most awards were bagged by ekta kapoor entourage. did you really think millie or bhabhi had a chance in front of kskbt, kzk,kth.....

2) now for every actor owing his allegience to ekta kapoor....honestly i believe that ekta is very smart lady. once you work for her , you are pretty much set for life. with the number of newcomers in this field , it is very hard for an actor to maintain his foothold in this industry. ekta kapoor does not let an actor fade. once his work in one show is complete, he immedietly signs up on a new show by this production house(which keeps him on people's mind and tube countinuosly). hiten, ejaz, chetan,gauri, and numerous others have benefitted from this.some of these actors were pretty bad in starting but countinuos work gave them time and opportunity to polish thier acting skills. life outside balaji's can be very hard struggle as was discovered by nausheen and numerous others.it does not come as a surprise that these actors should owe thier allegience to ekta kapoor.

while i agree that it is disheartening to see some good shows lose in this race but one has to take it with a grain of salt.

The other reason we could call it a Ekta Parivaar awards is she got stake in Star Plus so i guess this another way of bullying the awards!🤢

The speech given by Rahul of Miilee was very very relevant. I like him and is acting and esp his speech.😛

No matter how much i luv ekta bashin...at all her illogical reptitive formulas..etc..

but i must say i so do agree with ervy word u said pj04...

now matter wat kekta churns out...ppl watch it...we do...we r the ones hooked on to the serials...ya we luv to complain...but we do watch them...that is exactly y she makes them...
