Gully Cricket is back with MAX
MAX is back with another season of Gully Cricket. Every big Indian cricket star, from the wily spinners to the most powerful batsmen, was born on the streets and the channel celebrates this free sporting spirit by inviting everyone to come out and play cricket in their gullies. MAX brand ambassador Mandira Bedi alongwith Sameer Khan and the adorable Tiger Deewana will visit the cities of Hyderabad, Nagpur, Kolkata, Mangalore, Visakhapatnam, Coimbatore, Amritsar, Ahmedabad and Lucknow between September 7 and September 30 to take the cricket fever from the lofty stadiums to the dingy bylanes. The gully cricket initiative featuring Mandira Bedi has been conceived to also promote the forthcoming ICC Champions Trophy, which is being played in India for the first time. The fifth edition of the Mini World Cup is expected to be a no-holds-barred cricketing extravaganza with all the top nations waging war on the greens from Mohali to Mumbai.

Speaking on the concept, Mandira said, "I'm glad that MAX has again given me the opportunity to be able to go out and play cricket with all of you. And by all of you, I mean the lovely women too who have shown in the previous years that they can be quite a handful on the cricket pitch."
