Karamchand finds his new Kitty!-Sony

The search for the perfect Kitty is finally over. Suchita Khanna is the lucky girl who will play Karamchand's bubbly secretary in Karamchand which was earlier played by Sushmita Mukherjee almost two decades back. For those who seem to

be clueless about Suchita Khanna, she was last seen hosting Boley Sitarein on Sahara One.

The permanent actors on the show will be Pankaj Kapoor, Suchita Khanna, Atul Parchure (plays an inspector) and Rakhi Srivastav (plays a constable). The one hour weekly show is expected to hit the tube on 28 September on Sony with a 10 pm slot. The show will be directed by Pankaj Parashar and produced by Mazaa Films.

" I'd got a call from the production house and I went for an audition. They asked me if I was game for episodics in case the channel didn't approve of me and I jumped at the offer. But now that I am getting to act with a veteran actor like Pankaj Kapoor and my director Pankaj Parashar it's trully a blessing. I've seen the earlier Karamchand but don't remember too much of it as I was pretty young. The production house has asked me to watch the show but I thought it's better to play the character my own way with a fresh approach," chirps the vivacious Suchita who will be donning a trendy look and will continue to keep the carrots in her back like the previous Kitty.

The Pune bred actor has done a couple of forgettable films besides television shows like Gharana and Vishwas.
"It will be an episodic show and we will take contemporary issues. The base would be the same while the look and the situations would definitely change. Suchita is this jovial and cute girl next door while Pankaj Kapoor will be at his best. The feel of the previous show has also to be kept with of course the changes," says Karishma Pandit the Assistant Director of the show.
Pankaj Kapoor will has trademark black glares while Suchita too will have her best friend (carrots in the bag) intact for company but this time around Karamchand will have a denim look while Suchita will be donning completely western look.
