After HiTLIST carried a story on Mona Ambegaonkar being part of Balaji's Karam Apna Apna, the actress walked out of the show. But we needn't worry, as Achint Kaur has replaced her now. Mona was slated to play Nikhila, the powerful and wealthy matriarch of a business family.
Says a source in Balaji, "Mona was upset that Balaji had referred to her baby in the story. She doesn't want anybody to talk about the fact that she has a child or her personal life. After keeping the Balaji unit of 175 people waiting in Kolkata for three days, she finally decided that she wouldn't do the serial."
As they say, one woman's loss is another one's gain.
