After enjoying her role as a producer and director, television industry's first ever star actress, Neena Gupta is back to acting. The lady will play a pivotal part in Sunjoy Wadhwa'a upcoming show for Zee TV Saat Phere.
Known for doing powerful and women-centric roles, Gupta sticks to her genre and will now play Mannu bhabi in Saat Phere. The people working on the show feel that the Neena is very kicked about her character. "She has never done a character like this before."
Even her co-star Rakesh Bapat who makes his debut on television with the show is all praises for her. "She is a beautiful human being. That she is a good actor everybody knows but you have to see her new look in the show. It's very different."
Bapat continues talking about the diva with same enthusiasm, "There is a special team that worked on Neena's look in the show. She has worn very ethnic and traditional gota saris and different kind of blouses. I know all that because that's a constant discussion on the sets. What can I say about her potential? You have to see her to believe the kind of spontaneity she possesses. With her age and experience, any other actor would act starry with newcomers like us but she is different from the rest. Always open to the idea of learning new things, her eyes are always open. We are blessed to have her in our team."
It's after a gap of six years that Gupta has returned to acting. Though she did a few cameos in some shows for a brief period but it's with Saat Phere that she is making a proper comeback to acting.
The actress is lying low and consciously trying to stay away from the news. Reason being that it's the concept of Saat Phere that the team wants to highlight.
