CHAPTER 2:

Karthik fell over the sofa laughing ,having his hands on the stomach...his laughter resembled the silver coins shaking in a bag..But for raji,it was like a sweet music to her ears...After becoming normal,,karthik contained his laughter n looked at raji...his eyes were glitterring with his joyous tears...his cheeks turned into rose color by his babyish act...Raji's heart become more lighter now on seeing her Darling's happy face...

In Raji's left hand palm,there seated a cute monkey doll with red ribbon around its neck...in her right hand palm,there was a lollipop candy...These were the reasons for karthik's belly laugh n they played the major role in vanishing the K's anger on Raji completely..

After a long pause,he spoke with a smiling face..."Raji...truely u r a intelligent cutiepie"

Raji gave a warm smile in return..

"where come u r getting these ideas?"huh?"K asked in a surprise...

"hmm...u know,i am stressing my mind more to pacify u.."Raji said in a soft tone

"Is it?...very good job,Raji...ok...let me see ur gifts clearly,give it to me .."Karthik forced her...

Raji passed those gifts to him...he gazed at those gifts lovingly...first he have a look at monkey doll...its red ribbon displays the quote"sorry,my lord"....karthik could not help smiling on reading that quote...

"lord?...me?...r u sure?"Karthik asked playfully by raising his eyebrows...

"ya..am damn sure...i didnt found any mistake in that...moreover I love that WORD.."Raji replied proudly

karthik felt like flying in the sky after hearing those words...looking at that candy lollipop,he changed into a cute kid,who would be craving for the chocolate...he determined tasting it now itself...but he gave up that desire to maintain his prestige in front of Raji...

"hmm...i liked ur apology gifts...very sweet..."K said with a smile...

"means??...have u forgive me??"Raji questioned him...

"Not at all...i said only about the gifts...not about u...got it?"K replied in a strict tone...

But Raji seated near him without caring about his words ,the very next moment...

Karthik stared at Raji n asked"whether I told u to sit??...that too near me??...how dare u,Raji"...his voice was very rough while asking...

"from whom I have to get permission to sit near my Husband??...unaku koda atha thatti ketka urimai illai...purinchutha?"Raji said with a pride...

"aama...ippathan husbandnu therinchuthakum"K asked angrily...

"kochukaatha karthik...first listen to my explanations pls..."Raji begged him..

"dont say lie to me, again,.already u had messaged me about ur arrival...but u had reached the home after 2 hrs...ithu unaku thappa theriyala?"K asked with displeasure...

"all the problems occurred becoz of u only...do u know that?"R shouted like anything...

"what?...becoz of me?...what r u saying,Raji?...r u blabbering?..."asked Karthik with a vex..

"No,Not at all...u r the one ,who gave me the big responsibility on behalf of U.."Raji replied...

"Ya,i know that u r the JMD of RajaLaxmi Group of Companies..but what's the need to work overtime?"K questoned Raji...

"overtime??...oh...God...what happened to my Husband?...became mental?" Raji muttered to herself

"Raji...what r u thinking??...tell me the right ans.."K waked her from her world...

"haan...there came a necessary of urgent meeting,karthik...cant avoid that...it was about the expansion of our pondicherry branch...i was about to tell u...aana nee enga enna pesavidra?"Raji yelled at karthik...

karthik remained silent...

"moreover,that meeting was about for one n half hour...cant go from there in between..ivalavu neram aagumnu ninachukoda paarkalai...seri,meeting mudinchu unaku phone pannikitte iruken,edupennangra...msgs vera evalavu vaatithan anupi vidrathu...sollu?...no reply from u..."R said sadly...

Karthik noticed her facial expressions silently..he too felt bad for his stupid act...

"adhu seri,why u didnt attend my phone calls?"Raji asked..

"errr...enaku unta pesa pudikalai...athan phonea switch off panniten"K said in a low voice...

Raji fumed at him...but he showed his white teeth to her...Raji became calm after seeing his puppy face...

"then,why u came so early to the home?...what's the matter?any special occasion??"Raji asked curiously

"athalam illaiye...appadi iruntha unnta sollama eppadi...naan than soonenla...enaku thalavailinu...athanalathana unna officea paarthuka sonnen"Karthik nicely covered up the matter by saying this...

"is it?...but u said,u have a stomach ache...howcome pain would change suddenly from one body part to other...whether u have any magical power in ur strong body ?"Raji asked naughtily

Karthik struggled to answer...instead he began to shout...but raji stopped him by placing her hands on his mouth...

"Dont shout monkey...ivalavu kovam oru maushanuku aagathupa...thalai vazhi,stomach ache ulla evenaavathu ippadi kaatu kathu kathuvana?...u r incredible"Raji said with a shock n surprise look...

"incredible?...monkey?...angry man?...appa ethuku intha kovakara koranga kalayanam pannikitta?"Karthik asked with a rage..

"what to do?...intha koranga enaku romba pidichu tholanchuruche...?"Raji replied with a unhappy face...

both have a look at each other ,calmly...there remained a silence for a minute...then ,KR laughed irrepressibly...

they shared a eyelock...office BGM plays...
