Dreams Ep 8

Scene starts of with sathya talking to his lady friend (her name is mira) wanting to discuss about the new dance group that he planned to start but she seems busy and hangs up saying why is it that all the talk is about him or the dance group everytime.

next scene arasi talking to her mum in india over the phone, telling her that she will send money over as she is saving money. she is also planning to open a bank account to save her money. before she hangs up, she tells her mum that she has someone for company (hinting to the her dream guy - the radio deejay maddy).

arasi is listening to the radio again (i think she likes the radio deejay) and he puts on the song, from jeyam "kavithaye theriyuma" and arasi starts to daydream.

next scene, we see arasi asking deepa about maddy - madhavan the radio deejay and deepa describes him as tall, dark & handsome. deepa asks why she only asks about maddy and not the other deejays. so to cover her track, arasi asks about his co-host niveda and deepa says she is sexy. arasi gets irritated and asks if she is as pretty as deepa madam. deepa gets emotional and asks if i am that pretty, then why am i still single and unmarried. arasi realises she has touched deepa's nerve spot and tries to tell her that what has being pretty got to do with this (deepa being single). deepa then tells her not to imagine too much of things and tells her to off the light and go to sleep.

next scene we see deepa talking to some guy at the speed dating and after 5 mins is up, vikram appears and introduces himself (deepa was talking with the earlier guy and he says he had no interest in movies putting her off haha). vikram then asks for her name after which she asks for his background and he goes on and on. she asks what kind of movies he likes and vikram says likes bagyaraj & also recently s.j surya's movies saying he likes it cause of someone (seems like he has done some homework during his online chat with her hehe). deepa then asks what colour he likes and he says he likes black but don't like it on her (deepa) haha then he corrects himself saying he prefer to dress up his girlfriend colourfully although he likes black.

next scene we see sathya pasting something on a bulletin board outside and it reads "dancers wanted, pls contact xxxx".

next scene we see arasi & vasantha (shankar's mum, shall call her that from now) says she can't climb any further so asks arasi to go and buy things while she waits. arasi keeps peeking at her while she buys, afraid that she will go missing. she sees vansatha chatting with a guy when she couldn't find her at the earlier spot and feels relieved. arasi later comes over to vasantha when the guy left and asks who was he. vansantha says its the radio deejay maddy whom arasi has been crazy about and says that he lives in a 2 storey mansionette, drives a car, rich and has a good job. arasi couldn't belive it and thought she was joking but was convinced a while later and regrets not seeing him properly.

next scene at the beach, we see a guy trying to show off his tattoo to deepa and vikram laughs out loud (this scene was very funny) directing his laughter to the girl infront of him lol. deepa realises that he was laughing at her lol.

we see sathya calling mira to come for the dance gathering session which has gathered some people from his notice bulletin but she backs out last minute saying she has something on. later we see her peeking and sees sathya trying to convince them about starting the dance group but to no avail thus mira comes to help out. later she tells sathya that this is the last time she is helping him cause he was ungrateful when she helped to look for his missing grandma previously with not a word of thanks from him. she leaves leaving sathya stunned.

back to the beach, deepa leaves saying she don't like anyone. vikram comes to check with the in-charge asking if deepa has chosen him but she says no and tells him some other girl has chosen him. he tells her he is not keen in any other girls and runs after deepa and asks why didn't she select him. its not as if he has been staking her out although they have met a few times coincidently. he then tells her that among all the guys that turned up, isn't he the only decent looking guy (deepa gave a kevalam look haha) and gives her contact number to her. he tells her to call him if she changes his mind.

arasi at home trying to remember the face of maddy but it seems blur as she has only glanced once and feels frustrated.

deepa on the other hand flashbacks to vikram telling her that he wants to give his number to an average girl and go to an average movie with her. back to present, she laughs to herself. DREAMS THODARUM...
