Lost charm

Why are they calling people like Piya(Roshani Chopra)? Are they out of their mind?

People like Piya or even Nahar(Sharad Kelkar) of Saat phere they just have 1 serial to their credit, while TV/media industry is full of people with a lot of things under their belt.

Let these newcomers grow a little bit. Don't make fun of the title "Jeena isika naam hai".

I think they have lost the charm of old "Jeena isika naam hai" by making it sooo low profile.

keep in mind that these people are the craze today. and i would hardly call poonam dhillon low profile. give it a chance already and stop being so negative.

Hmm Rsammie is right. JIKNH has lost its glorious touch.. poonam dhilon is fine but give me a break.. with the program title as JIKNH its ridiculous to see piya..nahar..rakhi...(no personal issues) but just disgusting...just one suggestion to the producer..pls change the title.to. Jeena Kisi ka bhi naam hai ..

Disgusting???? What is so disgusting please do explain. The show is about celebrities and piya, nahar and rakhi are all celebrities......so what's the problem?

One serial actors are not celebrities. And what life have they lived to the fullest or what examples have they set to say about them : "Jeena Isika Naam hai".

The old one was really good. I don't even feel like watching the new version. pretty uninteresting.

As for Rakhi, I agree with cool23, yes it is disgusting to have people like Rakhi and say hey this is life and this is how to live it.

Also isn't it a bias to call only current Zee TV actors or actors involved in future Zee TV projects?

There are a lot of talented and famous actors working for other channels too. 😕

And why only actors? There are more people working hard behind the curtain than in front. They actually make the celebs "The CELEBs".

I think people like Sudheer Mishra (Director of Astitva)Gajendra singh should be called on the show.

MadhuriNene i don't think the message the show brings across is that this is life and this is how to live it.

they just bring on people from different backgrounds and show us what their life was all about. it doesn't mean that they;re promoting their lifestyle and that hey you should do what they're doing.

and yes one serial actors are celebrities. just because they are fairly new in the business doesn't mean you should just shrug them away. if that is the case then people like Shah Rukh Khan would never have made it to the top. who knows where these guys will be a few years down the road.

okk People like Shahrukh did not reach the level just after 1 serial.. Shahrukh had 2-3 serials and then he entered films. He got a long list of flops and then hits and he became king Khan . He has achieved so much in life and hence was called on the show.

If Zee would have called Shahrukh on "Jeena isika naam hai" just after his first serial "Fauji"/"Circus", then also I would have been surprized and given the same reaction. (Apart from the fact Shahrukh Khan was much better actor in his first serial than the ones we are talking about)

did you hear me say that shah rukh khan reached this level after one show. i know very well about his ups and downs and in fact knew who he was before he entered films. i was a big fan of his drama dil dariya.

so what that they're inviting people who haven't necessarily achieved as much as the older celebrities, with time who knows they might be even better. stop with the negativity already.

anyways, it just a show. why get so bothered about it....there are many other tensions in life than to worry about something as small as this. we have our differing opinions and aren't going to convince each other.

also we always have a choice if we don't like a show....we can just stop watching it.
