I woke up with the pouring out side which filled my rooms with the ever green fragrant of wet mud that I loved a lot .The time was 5:45 am ...the digital clock was all set for the alarm fifteen minutes from now , I switched it off and went to my balcony . The early morning view gave a wired satisfaction to my heart . I was in a variant mood with laced laziness over myself as my semester got over and I needed a heart filled break to keep myself constant . To my misfortune that didn't happen . My cousin's marriage was up this week and heck a lot of preparations was left to catch up .
After finishing my schooling , I applied for my college where Aman was learning . She used to stay in hostel until I came and we shifted to our chachi's house . We used to have a gala time . The most funny of them were that of me disturbing their romance and they freaking out embarrassed .
She's my senior and she handles hell a lot of works yet she
makes some time for me and my best friend and new found (currently old 😆) friend Kaira in the college . My two years of college went like a blow of wind and my second semester got over . I kind of have three weeks holidays and I spent one week in shopping , dining and hangouts and now I'm standing here after breaking down a drug shop last night along with Umesh, Aman, Kaira and Sourav . God knows what problem that will lead me to . Umesh andAman are financially very strong . Umesh is the heir of one of many very known Industries of Rajasthan and Mumbai while Aman's parents are popular play back singers so the problem has a certain way to calm but I guess a man saw me out last night ..I so hope they didn't see else this will only lead us to a huge danger .
The rain stopped by now & I broke out from my trance . " !! ..look what I've got !! " Aman came in exclaiming as loudly as she could . I irritatingly turned towards her to find her holdinga beautiful orange kurti with white leggings . I looked at the outfit ,then her , then back the outfit and then to her holding a *whats new in that* look . " Uff Nishu ..I got this for you !! " she spoke out in excitement jumping like a frog . I was happy to see the out fit for me but more than me , she seemed to be happy as if I got an award . " You will wear this for my haldi ceremony ...See I've got matching Jumkas and bangles too " she popped out the silver jhumkas and bangles out to me . The whole thing was so much loving . " Thank you " I said in a smooth way getting it from her with a warm smile that she loved . " This is soo pretty Aman...I mean bhabhi ...just the way I like " I said looking at it . " I know you will like it doll ..this will look good on you " she smiled at me .
" Waise you will love me more in your favourite white out fit and floral jewelleries ..." she said with enthusiasm . I was happy ...but my happiness was dooming somewhere else due to last nights happening . I didn't know why .. I still had the feel of something going wrong . I couldn't manage to find it yet . I was scared of loosing Aman and Umesh ..both are equally important for me . I wanted them to be safe ...I didnt want to loose them like I lost my parents . The mere thought brought a huge fear in me now . The smile Aman had now , I didn't want that to fade away . I was always a confident woman in front of them , this urgent moment , I had the need to put this smile up for her happiness . I think I was too late , Aman found my disturbed face bubbling out .
"Nishu ...Are you still mad about last night ? " Aman finally questioned . I think she needed to sort this out . " ..I'm making it up na baba ...see thats why I woke up early and showed you the new dress that you love ..but you seem to be less enthusiastic " Aman blurted her heart out . " ..mmm No I'm not mad Aman ..I'm just confused " I replied . " Nishu ..seriously ..Nothing will happen ..See na ..I'm sure nothing will happen " she assured me . I smiled ..but somewhere deep down , I was still not satisfied . I had no idea what was coming up but I managed to let it out for sometime .
The shagun got over , as usual I had to do the honours for their sceret romance , god knows what fun do they get in that when they are going to tie a knot within two days or less than two days . I sighed cause I had no other options . I giggled at the scene that would be thrown at them ..like that of Hindi serials ..how funny would Aman and Umesh look . After like a decade I pulled out the two and made our way for the next rituals .
It was haldi ; I had worn what Aman told me to wear . The umbrella kurti with leggings , along with silver jhumkas and bangles and a small silver bindi with less make up . I drew a thin black line over my eye lids and coloured my lip with cherry gloss . Pleating my hair to a side one , I moved out to check on other arrangements .
I went to check Umesh who looked no less than a joker with all yellow colour covered completely over his face . I laughed at his appearance only get a glare back in return . " uff Umesh ..you are fully covered with haldi ...now tell me where do I put this one ? on your hair ? " I asked in between my laughter . " Not funny at all ...you have a small space ..next to my ear ..apply!" he ordered . I did that laughing at his antics . He too applied a little on my cheeks and pulled them and I frowned in return and then laughed . Finishing with the rasam on grooms side , I made my way to the bride . She looked like an angel .
. I have always loved her like my own sister . I was a lucky behen to get a caring brother and sister -in law . They always managed to bring a smile on my face . They looked heavenly together . I pray that I too get some one like either of them . I don't expect that to happen though but I always hoped for a one beside me to take care and love me and vice-versa .
With the songs going , I applied haldi on Aman like that of a mad woman making her go all haww as I spoiled her make up . The rest of them were left laughing except for dadi who pulled my ear for this mischievous work . " Dadi ...Umesh too looks the same ..I thought of making it equal .." I said biting my lips and closing one of my eyes and then she too smiled at my silliness . After all playing and singing , I felt thirstly . And there was a special service going on with Aman ; the waiter was giving her a drink and I pulled it from her and drank it .
As I was roaming around , I heard somone saying about the back side arrangements to Aman. " I'll check Aman...you stay here ..." I said tongue in cheeks and moved out to the back yard which had no decorations . As I walked , each step turned heavier and I felt a weight over my head . The only thing I realized was that all the images were blurring and then ...blank ...

I opened my eyes with a great difficulty and found an unknown place with my hands and legs tied . I was shocked . Shocked like as if my life was taken away ... I thought of screaming but my voice didn't reach out as my mouth was tied . I looked around to find a dark place with dim lights and my vision blurred to that .
