CHAPTER-7
***NEXT MORNING***
nisha was cleaning her room...she picked the pile of cloths which were lying on her bed and kept them neatly in her cupboard...and made her room look a little tidy...she loved doing this everyday because... everytime she did it...she remembered kabir...kabir came in front of her eyes...doing his antics...she remembered how he used to interrupt between her work...by his cute and sweet antics...how he jumped on the pile of clothes...making nisha angry...and shout on him...even now everything was the same...but two things were missing from the scenerio...the first one is kabir...and the second one is nisha's smile.
nisha kept doing her work...when suddenly some photos fell off from the cupboard...she picked them up, and seeing them her face lit up.
the first photo was taken secretly by saurav, when kabir for the first time proposed nisha.she smiled seeing it, she remembered how kabir took years to speak out theose three magical words. she smiled at his cuteness.
the second photo which was taken by umesh bhaiyya when kabir was irritating nisha ...when she was trying to cook aloo paratha for the first time...kabir laughing at her...and nisha getting angry...!! she remembered the whole convo of them.
** FLASHBACK**
nisha was trying since an hour to make an aloo paratha...a single aloo paratha..!! kabir who was trying to help...was trying hard to hide his laugh. umesh was trying even harder to make her learn to make aloo paratha. he was tired...the paratha she made weren't homogenous at all...some times it looked like india's map...some times like a cloud...some times like an unknown creature.kabir couldn't control himself anymore and finally spoke out.
kabir: nisha...tu sachchi mein aloo paratha bana rahi hain na...???
nisha: tujhe aur kya dikhta hain...??
kabir: mujhe...india ka m...nahi mujhe aloo ka paratha hi dikhta hain..!!
nisha: india ka kya...??
kabir: maine kya bola...maine to bas yahin bola ki mujhe aloo ka paratha dikhta hain..!!
nisha: tujhe kya main bevkoof dikhaayi deti hun..??
his head moved in positive direction while he said no...nisha got angry seeing his antics...which he thought were funny...and which were not funny at all..!!umesh and the cousins were busy watching them fight and they were busy in their fight...kabir called the cousins to see nisha making aloo paratha for the first time...they were busy fighting ...when some sort of burning smell...reached everyone's nose...they slowly looked at the pan...expecting what not to expect...and their expectations were right...the paratha was burnt...like a piece of coal. kabir picked that paratha with a holding fork and showed it to nisha. and said
nisha...ye to africa ka map bangaya...yaar tujhe geographer hona chahiye tha...!! said kabir...trying to crack a joke...but unsuccessful.
kabirr...tu abhi ke abhi jaa yahan se...warna main tujhe bht maarne waali hun...saying that she picked up a knife.
aap keliye jaan bhi haazir ur highness...but self defence naam ki bhi ek cheez hoti hain nisha...to main ye garam garam pan utha letha hun...!! saying that he picked up the hot pan on which she was making parathas...!!!
the cousins started to bang their heads on the wall laughing...!!
the cousins were watching the world war going on in the kitchen...while the cousins were busy laughing...while sukku spoke out...
" dadaji sahi kehte hain...ye dono perfect hain ekk doosre keliye...ekk paagal to doosra sirfira...ekk dum PERFECTTT..!!" and they giggled.
everyone was a big fan of the crazy couple.
and umesh captured the precious moments in a photograph...hoping to be like this the whole life. but not knowing what was going to happen, which will shatter their lives..!!
***FLASHBACK ENDS ***
NISHA was holding that photo close to her heart...she wished that...everything becomes like that once again...the smile on their faces...kabir...cousins...nisha...everything..!!
she flipped out for some more photos...every photo was a precious moment in their life. and the photographer was always one of the cousins...the cousins have been a significant part of nisha and kabir's life...a beautiful part.
nisha remembered kabir...hoping him to be back soon...as she never can marry anyone else and be happy with him...it was only kabir...who had that place in her heart...who could make her happy...who could understand her...with whom she wants her life to be with.it's only kabir...and NO ONE ELSE...!!!

on the other hand, kabir's condition was neither good...he was in coma...tears fell from his eyes...for an unknown reason...reasons for which answers were needed...for which he have to get up...still his eyes were closed...he wanted to open them...see the world again...and find his answers...for which he have been here...but his body was not at all supporting him...although his soul was in support of him...to meet his soulmate...but Alasss...!!!
viraj went to the doctor's cabin for some formalities...he was talking something to the doctor about kabir...while vasundhara waited outside the icu. seeing his younger son in that condition hoping him to get up soon..!!vasundhara got up...and went to drink some water.
an unknown sensation went through kabir's body as he moved his hands again...this time a little more...then he moved his right leg...then slowly left...he was now able to move his limbs...although not properly...just a movement...he was trying to talk something...which he was not able to clearly...
he was trying to say something like...nisssh...but he couldn't complete the word everytime he tried to talk...!!just then viraj entered the room...he saw kabir...and things in his hands fell on the floor...he was happy...as well as shocked...a mixed feeling it was...he went running towards him...he held his hand...and called the doctor..!!kabir again tried to speak out the same thing..
nishhh...kah...h...bade..bhay..aaa...m..ujj..jhee m..il..naa..hainn..!! now kabir started panicking. he held viraj's hand...and repeated those words again and again. he started to get impatient now...he was getting anxious...he was yearning to meet nisha...he felt as if it have been many years since he met her...he was shaking viraj..he was crying
bhai...bhai...bataoo...nisha kahan hain...us..se..kuch h..uaa to ..ni,..???viraj was not able to answer his sudden questions...suddenly...kabir's eyes fell on the calendar which was kept on the side table...he was shocked to see that...there was 2015 written on it..
bhai...y..ee..kyaa.. hain...???main too...manali mein tha...2012 mein...ye yahan 2015 kyun..??bhaiii...??aap batao naaa...kya ho raha..??
kabir...wo..he was about to say something...when the doctor came inside the room..!!
viraj: doc...dekhiye na inhee kya ho raha hain...ye aise kyun bartav kar rahe hain...??? ye itne anxious kyun ho rahe hain..!!
doc: viraj...do min rukiyee...main aapko sab batata hun...and he took out an injection from his pocket...that injection contained sleeping medicine. the doctor injected it into kabir's body.
kabir: bhai...mujhee..nishaaa se mi...he couldn't complete his sentence as he went into a deep sleep.
viraj: doc ye kya kiya aapne..???
doc: inke iss haalat mein ye karna zaroori tha...inhe 2-4 ghanto mein hosh aajayega..!! jab patient bht dino baad apne aas paas kuch naya surrounding dekhta hain to wo usually gabhraa jaata hain...aur wahi iss case mein bhi hua hain..aur wo bhi inke case mein time span zyaada tha...!!issliye ye injection dena zaroori tha.
viraj: theek hain doctor...aap jaisa kahee..!!
doctor as well as viraj left the room ...while vasu watched his son in that condition standing near the door.

in her dream, she went again to the velvet lounge, she was waiting for someone...since a lot of time...fianlly that person arrived...he stood in front of her...she slowly walked towards him...he came towards her.

just then...someone hits kabir with an iron rod on his head...kabir...falls there itself...his head bleeding profusely...and that someone drags nisha's hand and drags her with him...they both extend their hands towards each other...but of no use...!!
before nisha could see who that person was...her dream was broken by some noises...she woke up and saw herself sweating...
nisha (monologue) : koyi to hainnn...jo mere aur kabir ke beechme aane ki koshish kar raha hain...lekin kaun..??
just then karan entered the room...with some shopping bags in his hand..

after 2 hours
viraj was not in the hospital...as he had some office work...so he left from there...leaving two of his body guards there...outside the icu...so that no one enters the icu.without permission.
a wardboy came with some medicines, when he was stopped by those guards.
guard: where are u going..???
WB: i have some medicines for the patient.
guard : where is the permission..??
the wardboy handed him the permission letter which was given by the doctor. the guard thoroughly checked him and let him in. he slowly went inside the ...and was shocked to see that kabir wasn't there. he started searching for him...when someone held his mouth very tight and injected him with the same sleeping injection. the wardboy fell on the floor.
it was kabir who did that in order to get out of the hospital...he didn't knew what was happening...but he somehow remembered the place he was in. he quickly wore the wardboy's dress and made him wear his dress...he with a lot of effort...made him lie on the bed. and took the same medicines and the cart...and went out of the room...almost covering his face by the cap.
the guards let him go as they thought that he was the same wardboy.
he left the place as fast as he could... he didn't forget to get his wallet with him...which was kept in drawer of the side table.now he was kabir...!!
nisha...mujhe nahi pata..hum alag kaise hue..main kaise yahan aaya...mujhme itni himmat kahan se aagayi ki maine tujhe chod diya...mujhe kuch yaad nahi...main bas ab tere paas waapas aa raha hoon nisha...tera kabir aa raha hain tere paas...!! ' said kabir
and he left for his house...he very well knew the house as he came here before too...in his childhood...he went straight to his house. everything seems to be changed...but he wasted no more time...took his laptop and some money...booked his tickets to india. his flight was scheduled after 2 hours. ab basss...!! he thought..!!
he left for the airport...which was half an hour far.
