Day 21
Nisha was unable to sleep the whole night. She just thought about Harsh coming to Mumbai. Things were already messed up; this American monkey would screw them up. She woke up but all her tensions evaporated as she saw Kabir hugging a pillow.
Now, it was a daily routine. Nisha would wake up and adore her "so-called-hubby-and-boyfriend", till he made some movement in sleep. Then she would freshen up and wake him, which was a difficult task.
Nisha came out of the washroom and tried waking him up, but he pulled her close to him. She was sitting on the bed with her nose almost touching his.
Kabir felt heavy breath fanning his face so woke up and was surprised to Nisha's position, but couldn't stop himself from losing in her dark orbs.
"Wake up! Wake up!" they both were shocked to hear a baby's voice. Nisha moved away from Kabir and rushed outside the room. Kabir picked his cell and switched off the alarm.
After getting ready, he came out of the bedroom, to see Nisha reading the script. His Kamina antennas found their signal and he sat besides Nisha. Remembering the morning incident, she blushed.
Kabir- (intertwining his fingers with hers, intensity in his voice) Nisha...
Nisha heart skipped a beat when she heard him take her name with so much intensity and his eyes shining.
Nisha- (losing herself in the moment) hmmm...
Kabir- Main kehna chahta tha ki...
Nisha felt like vanishing in thin air. This guy would get the death out of her with those chocolaty looks. She blushed furiously.
Kabir- Main jaan chuka hoon...
Nisha- (scared yet excited) Kya?
Kabir- Ki tum...
Nisha-(breathlessly) Ki...main
Kabir- mujhse...
Nisha- (expectantly) tumse...
Kabir- badi paagal ho...
Nisha-(not realizing what he said) Sach kaha tumne...
Kabir looked at her in shock and burst out laughing. She looked at him in confusion and the fog of "Love" vanished from her brain and she realized what he said. She stared at him shock as he continued to laugh at her.
Nisha-(annoyed) Kabir, Kitna bada K hai tu...
Kabir- Aur mere Kpan se kitni J hai tu...
Nisha walked away angrily and went downstairs. Kabir felt that she became angry so rushed out of the house.
Nisha stood near the bike with a frown on her face. Kabir made a baby face and held his ears. Nisha felt like laughing but kept on her serious expressions. Kabir made a more a cuter face, but Nisha didn't give up. Kabir made the cutest face possible and stared at her.
Nisha couldn't control herself and burst out laughing. Kabir too joined her and started laughing. Nisha stopped laughing and stared at him angrily.
Kabir- Dekho, wifey, pati parmeshwar se gussa nahi hote...
That was enough to make Nisha blush. She tried to hide the pink hues and changed the topic, "Chalo, der ho rahi hai..."
They started their journey towards another day.
*VSR studios*
Kabir applied the brakes suddenly, bringing Nisha out of the morning memories. In fear, she hugged him.
Kabir- You know Nisha, tum mujhse bhi bahut kuch chipati ho...Par main detective Kabir hoon, itni jaldi haar nahi manta...
Nisha's heart beat stopped. Did he get to know about her feelings? But how? Did Saurav tell him? So he wasn't joking in the morning, he was trying to make me confess...
Kabir- Tumne pehle kyun nahi bataya...
Nisha- (searching for words) Main...woh...
Kabir-(interrupting her) I know that I am hot and girls like me... agreed you are jhalli, but you too are a girl yaar, so it's no big deal if you like me...
Nisha- (trying to avoid) Like? Aur tujh jaise Bandar ko? My foot...
Kabir- Accha, toh subah mujhpe kyun giri? Abhi brake mara, tab bhi giri mujh par...
Nisha-(trying to explain) Par subah tumne mujhe kheencha, aur woh brake bhi tumne hi maara...Maybe, tumhe hi main pasand hoon...
Kabir- Sahi keh rahi ho...
Nisha felt delighted, par Kabir had decided to break Nisha's beautiful dreams.
Kabir- Main tumhe pasand karta hoon... Lekin tab jab tum chup hoti ho...
Nisha looked at him in shock as he ran in the studio. She wanted to be angry with him, but just couldn't.
After completing the shots, Nisha went to call the dance crew, but stopped when she saw that Kabir was dancing with skates. She smiled as the dance crew watched the performance in awe. Kabir felt Nisha's presence and looked at her.
"Jaisi karni waisi bharni" is rightly said. Because he troubled Nisha in the morning, he was bound to be punished. As he continued with his performance, staring at Nisha, he tripped and fell down.
Nisha stared at him in shock for a second and then rushed to him. But he was lost in Nisha land as she bombarded him with questions. Finally, fed up, Nisha slapped him.
Nisha-(angry) Duffer! Chot lagi hai naa, kahan kho gaye ho?
Kabir- Kuch nahi...
After long hours of shooting, all went to Kirti's house as it was Kirti's younger sister's birthday. They were partying and having fun, when suddenly the door bell rang. Kirti's mom (Rupan) opened the door and all in the living room were surprised to hear her exclaim in happiness, "Arrey Tum?" They heard the door shut and Kirti's mom led the guest in the house.
Looking at the guest's face, Nisha's jaw dropped in shock. All were shocked to hear her scream, "HARSH???"
Harsh looked at her and smile.
Harsh- Hi Nisha.
Nisha- (still in shock) Tum yahaan kya kar rahe ho?
Rupan-(a bit annoyed with Nisha's rude behaviour) Yeh Kirti ke papa ke business associate ka beta hai, Harsh.
Kaira (Kirti's younger sister)- Come in naa Harsh bhaiya...
He joined them and Rupan left the youngsters alone.
Kirti- Harsh, these are my friends... That's Nisha...
Harsh-(smiling) I know her, our grandfathers are best friends...
Kirti then introduced the others.
Kirti- Aur yeh Kabir hai... Nisha ka...
Nisha- (intruppting her) best friend...
Umesh- Haan, aur uska...
Kabir- (intruppting him) sabse accha dost...
Harsh- Best friend and sabse accha dost mean the same, doesn't it?
Kabir gave him a "whatever" look.
Harsh- Arrey yaar, I forgot Kaira's gift in the car, I'll just get it...
He went out.
Aman- Nisha, Kabir, why are you both hiding about your relationship?
Nisha- Aman, iske Dadaaji aur mere Dadaaji best friends hai...
Sukku- Toh?
Nisha- Abbey duffer, agar iske Dadaaji ne mere Dadaaji ko bataya ki I have a boyfriend toh woh mujhe zinda jala denge...
Kirti-(realizing) Oh... waise Nisha, tum kitni lucky ho, you and Harsh know each other... (dreamily) He is so cute...
Nisha- Utna hi irritating hai...
Kaira- Please aa Nisha, he is such a nice guy, jab bhi aata hai, mere liye chocolates laata hai...
Kabir-(annoyed to hear Harsh's praises) Kaira, you are behaving as if you never have seen chocolates...
Saurav- Tujhe kya problem ho rahi hai? Kaira is just praising him...
NiBir rolled their eyes. Harsh entered and handed Kaira a gift. Then they all were talking. Kabir was annoyed to see Harsh flirt with Nisha. Nisha was feeling no better, but she had to keep mum.
They left Kirti's house late that night. Harsh had offered to drop Nisha, but Kabir denied.
*Saxena house*
Nisha- Kabir, mujhe bahut tension ho rahi hai...
Kabir- kyun?
Nisha- Agar usse pata chala ki you and I stay together, then?
Kabir-(confused) Kise?
Nisha- Obviously Harsh ko...
Kabir- (irritated with Harsh's mention) Yeh baar-baar Harsh -Harsh kya laga rakha hai tumne?
Nisha-(trying to explain) But main...
Kabir-(sternly) Thikh hai, agar tumhe apne American monkey se itna hi darr lagta hai, toh I'll shift at Saurav's house. Ok?
Nisha tried to speak but till then he was in the washroom. She flinched when she heard the washroom door slam loudly.
Nisha became sad at his annoyance and went to sleep. Kabir opened the washroom's door and saw that she was fast asleep.
Kabir-(apologizing, still irritation in his voice) Main kya karu Nisha, I just can't see you with anyone else. I am sorry for being rude to you.
