Part VI
Ok people so i am here with a very quick update, if i am allowed to say 🤣 🤣
Nisha parked her scooter at the market area. "Now quickly tell me where you want to go? I am not wasting an entire day with you." "How am I to know that? Aren't you supposed to show me around? Yet I can make it easier for you. Let me call Ramesh Uncle and ask him which places we could visit in Jaipur." He removed his phone and started to search for Ramesh's Number. Nisha rolled her eyes and huffed. "Fine I'll show you around but there is one condition you don't argue and follow me wherever I take you without any question. Agree?" she said tilting her head and folding her hands trying to dominate over him."I may not be an expert in counting but as per the basics I think those were two conditions and not just one." Kabir loved adding to her anger. "Wow congratulations Mr. Expert you can count" she said clapping her hands sarcastically. Kabir broke into a smile at Nisha's antics. "Now do you accept the conditions or not?" Kabir deliberated the consequences of agreeing to the conditions especially when they came from a women like Nisha who was extremely smart, who could get her way out from almost anything. He could already smell something fishy but decided to find out what was is it that Nisha had in her mind. He was already attracted to the way her mind worked. He wanted to know her better and if that meant he had to be a target again he was ready for it. Nisha stood there pouting and staring at him growing impatient by every minute. "Done" he said suddenly. "Ok" Nisha replied trying to keep a straight face. "Ok then you just wait here I will be back have some work, I should be back in five minutes" "I'll come along" Kabir started to walk with Nisha. "No you stay here" she said firmly. "Why?" "You agreed no arguments remember" Kabir dropped the argument immediately and motioned her towards the direction in which she was headed. Kabir ended up checking his watch several times before Nisha returned.
He was delighted to see her back. He had started to think her ultimate plan was to leave him alone, which explained why she asked him not to argue. But then this was Nisha understanding her was a huge task in itself. "Let's go" she said as soon as she stood next to him. "Let's start with the market. Kabir shrugged and accompanied her. They crossed a few shops while Nisha explained him about the local art and its significance. "Sir! Do you want to buy some sarees?" A salesman stormed towards Nisha and Kabir, almost stamping Kabir's feet. "We have some lovely sarees for your loved ones" "No thank you I do not wish to buy any Sarees!" Kabir declined politely and walked past the salesman. The salesman hurried and caught up with Kabir pulling him by his hand. "Atleast have a look" he said dragging Kabir to the shop. Nisha quietly followed both of them in the shop. The salesman quickly got to the other side of the show case and started gathering a few sarees for Kabir to choose. "Excuse me why don't you get it I do not want to buy any sarees?" "Sir just have a look at the sarees I am sure you would feel like buying one then" The salesman turned to pull off some more sarees from the rack. "This guy just doesn't get it is he insane?" Kabir turned towards Nisha opening his arms wide in frustration and then slapping them on his thighs. He shook his head baffled by the salesman. As the salesman chose to ignore Kanbir's frustration, Kabir sat on a stool. Kabir blankly looked at the salesman as he unfolded different sarees in front of him giving a brief explanation on the material and the work on the saree. Tired of the salesman's continuous blabbering he looked at Nisha for some help but he knew that was unlikely. He could swear Nisha was thoroughly enjoying this by the smug smiles she threw at him. Kabir noticed a man in around his late fifties walk toward them. "Arrey Nisha Beta what are you doing here? Have you come here to buy sarees?" Nisha was astonished and fumbled for words. "No actually Mehta Unlce I... actually we..."
"oho beta if the Gangwals wanted to buy sarees you could have just called me I would have sent Raju home with the latest collection." He said looking at the salesman who was annoying Kabir to the core a few minutes back. "Raju did you ask Nisha for some tea, coffee? Usually I don't have to ask you to do that, when your Nisha di is here. What happened today?" Kabir immediately lifted his head and looked at Nisha. He could judge by the look on her face that she knew the salesman very well and going by the way the old man talked with Nisha, he shared a good relation with the Gangwals. He continued to stare at the Sarees laid in front of him as he recollected the events right from the time they arrived at the market. As he joined the dots he realized why Nisha had not allowed him to come with her.
"Beta is this boy with you?" The old man's inquisitiveness got the better of him. Nisha knew this was coming and she could not avoid this. "Yes uncle I will always be there with her" Kabir answered, back to his usual self. Nisha closed her eyes and shook her head, while Mr. Mehta, stared at Kabir up and down. "Uncle we are going to get married soon and I wanted to gift her, a saree so she brought me to your shop."
