WHAT HAS HAPPEN TO CV'S (COUSINS MISSING)

Absolutely agree. The show has made some very good and necessary changes recently like Kabir's entry as a fresh new love interest and petering out Viraj's character (I always had an issue with his characterization. The actor was decent but I don't think the actual character was written very well), but unfortunately, the main theme of the show has been lost in the grand "TRP" scheme of things.

I feel really bad for all the times Heli Daruwala said to interviewers that the show is "about all of us" . She could have been given a very interesting storyline. I honestly just feel like the writers are either lazy or they just don't care anymore or both. It's not that hard to create a "intern at a fashion house" subplot for Kirti (just off the top of my head). It would have been interesting and fresh to see. Are the CVs just too cheap to hire more actors or finance a new set?

But I think a big part of the problem is this: the daily soap format can't properly accommodate the complex narrative structure that NAUC could do best with. With movies or mini-series or even weekly shows, writers are able to construct a story with a logical arc: a beginning, middle, and end. Networks also order a set of episodes together, so the writers write their stories without much influence from ratings or fans (although for tv shows with "seasons," writers may incorporate fan choices for a new season).

I appreciate that the team of NAUC was trying to do something new and interesting, but I have a feeling they're all very jaded by the whole thing now. They're just trying to keep their show afloat now, just like everyone else. Creativity has been thrown out the window.
