Sukku isn't an easy kid. He leaks papers, he committed the bike fiasco, bangle churaying...somewhere he is straying. He is very good at heart, loves his family, but does make mistakes which are illegal and unethical. Questioning RL's parenting for these actions isn't wrong. But how Sukku did all that is a question for me?

First, I hated Dadaji when he asked Ramesh to step out of the car. Then he told Ramesh at GS, that Sukku is giving him the happiness Ramesh never game him. Sukku is fulfilling his (Dadaji's) wishes pointing that Ramesh didn't, again referring to Ramesh's past. And then the incident you said. Why is Dadaji always reminding Ramesh that he has failed in his life because he didn't listen to him?

@bold I seriously can't understand Dadaji in this sense.

I think more than flashbacks, I would love to hear about the incidents from various members...Like Dadi citing an incident what happened to Ramesh, Ramesh talking to it to Lakshmi, telling his kids may be...I would like to know his past in that way, more than flashback. I feel that would connect more.

But his past has to come forward too. Why Dadaji is so angry at Ramesh, and why Ramesh feels Dadaji's decision for his life isn't the right one.

Did Sukku even complete his graduation? I have always been wondering that. Lakshmi said during Sukku shouting at Ramesh scene..that if Sukku had told AFTER graduation he wants to do a MBA, they will do anything to make him study. So has Sukku completed his studies or is he a drop out?

Sukku is, as you said, swayed away by short cuts. He got the money for bike by blackmailing Ramesh. So his moves haven't been very seedha from the first. He is young and learning. I would want him to make more mistakes and learn. RL giving him chances to learn. That would show the biggest difference between Ramesh's and Dadaji's parenting.

@bold Though I wouldn't want to judge Dadaji without knowing the past, his current actions towards Ramesh is very wrong, immaterial of what happened.

There were times, that the illusion could have broken in the past. Maybe he was so much in self pity that he couldn't see what's happening?? Umesh does know about it too, I think like atleasr an inkling of the things Ramesh has to go through.
