**Life is now! #Last Chapter updated on page 22! *Ended* - Page 2

Hey guys, a big thanks for the likes and comments, motivated to me to write & post the update much sooner than I had thougth! :D

Here's chapter 2, it's from Umesh's point of view (you'll know why when you read it)... And the story might seem to be going a little slow, but I need to build up the background, It'll pick up pace later on. Chapter 2: Smiles and Laughter.

It had always been Umesh's dream to open up a restaurant, and his wife Aman shared his dream. He felt really happy to have her in his life, it was as if they were made for each other and he hadn't felt so complete until he met her...

Things couldn't have been better, he had his love, his family and he had the most amazing cousins in the world! Having Nisha was especially a blessing, it was she who stood by him since the beginning in trying to convince Dadaji about Aman back then, and it was she only who convinced Dadaji to give him a chance to work upon his dream of opening a Restaurant now.

Thinking of her, a thought crossed his mind... Yes, things could have been better. If only his sister had got the same bliss as him, she who always thought of others, she who would always come forward to help anyone in need, she who had only love in her heart. Yes, Nisha deserved to be happy.

His little sister was all grown up and mature now, but she smiled and laughed just like she used to, she was the same Nisha, but somehow different too...

She was more confident now, more patient but he could sometimes glimpse a hollowness in her eyes.

She wasn't that lucky in love, and that is how life is... Even being the best person on this earth wouldn't guarantee that you get the love of your life, and his sister Nisha was a gem of a person, No one could deny that! Well, there were a few people who would deny that, for instance Roopan chachi, and then there was Gayatri buaji and Priyanka (Viraj sir ki bua and behen, jinhone apne family member ko hi dhoka de diya)... But then people who have only malice and cunningness in their heart couldn't be expected to see the goodness in others...

Not just her love but Nisha had lost her dream to be a shooter too. Ofcourse the cousins had suggested her to join some other academy for the time being but she had refused.

Umesh looked at Nisha who was sitting a few seats ahead of him in the minibus they had hired to go to Udaipur. She was reading something. Umesh smiled, this was new, she had developed an interest in reading.

All the cousins (and Saurav) were on their way to Udaipur for the Workshop for which Umesh and Aman had been accepted. It was a week-long workshop on Food & Beverage Industry by the Industry top-shots, the most successful Chefs, Hoteliers and Restaurateurs were going to guide a handful of selected people who showed potential in the Industry after going through a couple of trade tests and interviews. The cousins had insisted that only him and Aman should go and have a good time together but he and Aman were adamant that cousins come along too, they felt an outing would be good for all, what happened three months ago had somehow disturbed everyone, especially Nisha.

And the best thing was that he had a surprise for her.

Umesh looked at Aman, she looked at him and smiled, she knew what he was thinking about.

"Ab aap dono ek doosre ko dekh dekh ke muskurate hi rahoge?" Suketu exclaimed "Aapko to pehle hi option diya tha, teen mahine ke andar hi second honeymoon ka, but chalo ab humein sath le hi aaye to ho atleast bore mat karo!"

"Haan, chalo na Antakshari khelte hain, long journeys me ye mera all-time favourite game hai!" chimed in Jwala.

Kirti snatched the book from Nisha's hand and said "I agree, Nishu journeys me book kaun padhta hai, how blah!"

"Arey to main kahan mana kar rahi hu khelne se... but ye Dolly di kya dekh rahi hain apne phone me? Unko bhi bolo koi!"

Bunty pulled out the earphones out of Dolly's ears.

"How darings you bunty, earphones kyun nikale tune?" Dolly retorted.

"How darings nahi dolly di, How dare you... aur bunty ne earphones isliye nikale kyunki hum sab antakshari khelne ja rahe hain" explained Saurav, "aur by the way itni sincerity se phone me kya dekh rahi thi aap?"

"Wo maine ek movie download ki thi..." Dolly hesitated, and then said "Monster in law movie dekh rahi thi"

Everyone burst out laughing. "Wow Dolly di, English Movie! Apki saasu ma bohot inspiring hai lagta hai" kirti said through her laughter.

And just like that, laughing and singing they reached Udaipur.

Umesh was happy, the start of the trip was good and things were going to be even better. When everyone had gone to their rooms he went to the lawn of the hotel, took out his phone and made a call "You are here?"

"Where else would I be?" replied the other person, not just through the phone but the voice came from behind as well, Umesh turned to see the person standing there and smiled.
