I watched Ramesh and Nisha's parts and fund an interesting symbolism near the steps.
First they both kept different fott on the steps and went back and kept their right feet together and Ramesh held her so closer.
For me it means in the journey of love of Nisha, Nisha kept each step alone and Ramesh though didn't like it let it happen.
Now it will go the other way each step Ramesh will stand with her daughter always will be there for her.
I feel when Viraj fall in love sometimes Ramesh will make sure this time her heart won't break. Until he's sure he won't let Viraj come near her.
He will be possessive father who wants to protect his daughter from every pain and I must say she's so lucky to have RL as her parents who are always there for everything in her life.
