Ramesh's fear & Nisha's confidence

Today's episode was one of the most intense episodes we have had. Every scene was as important. Every character's character shone brightly today.
Nisha's selflessness, Ramesh's fear, Umesh's helplessness, Viren's ignorance, Dolly's cowardice, Dadaji's power, Dadi's practicality, and many more.

Viren's confidence (overconfidence) on his kids looked like the prime reason for Vimla and Umesh to remain silent.

The scene between Ramesh and Lakshmi reminded me a lot of the show Parvarish. Parents' fear of seeing their child getting hurt, their nature to protect them forever but realising its time to leave them to make decisions and learn from their mistakes were very nicely portrayed. Lakshmi telling Ramesh its time they leave Nisha's hands and let her own her own was very realistic. Ramesh asking why do children grow up so soon was real too.

Nisha told Ramesh that his brothers left him (backstory?) but her cousins will never leave her and will be there to support her always. Do you guys think that's possible in real life? Do you think the cousins in the show would have done the same for Nisha?

It's sad but i don't think anyone would these days. Or at least not many would. People have different priorities. I hope these cousins do help nisha though when she needs it. I think nisha needs to stop being selfless towards her cousins. It's almost as if she's dependent on them. She needs to think about her life too.

That's why I felt Ramesh was right. He was right in telling she will be left alone at the end like him. From what we have seen, I don't find the rest of the cousin ready to stand up for Nisha or for that matter anyone when it comes to serious problems. Umesh might, but he fears his father a lot.
Nisha told Ramesh that he has imaged himself as Rehne de Ramesh and not others. But I don't think he would have had a choice. So Nisha does know what happened to her father and hence she rebels against Dadaji and her Tayjis.

In real life, I don't think anyone would go to any level to save others, at least in today's world. Relations have become detached. Yes, as a group support would be there...but I don't think anyone would do what Nisha did today.

Yeh. But i can't really blame the cousins if they don't. None of them have the courage that nisha has. Not everyone does. I know i wouldn't be able to. I'm more like dolly in that sense, though i hate been like that.
But isn't that the essence of the show? All the cousins working together? How can they have us hating the cousins for being selfish and appreciating their bonding? So i'm hoping they'll help out at some point.

@bold That's very evident. I don't see any of the cousins stand up for the other in situations like Dolly's. I think Nisha knows that too. So I wonder how she believes her cousins will support her always.

Yes. That's the essence of the show. But somewhere down the lane, they haven't shown that strong bond. Actually except for the first party where they all enjoyed together, there has been more fights and arguments more than bonding. I agree there will be fights like this and its natural. But they should have established the strong bond among them before going on to the fights.

Yeah right. Same cousins who didn't speak a word of truth. Oh come on, how bad could it be?
After all Dolly was only meeting the guy she is marrying.

I felt she was being the typical tween who thinks she is right and all the people in parent's age are wrong. Selfish selfish, Nisha.

@tvdekha...Hi!! Nice seeing you here..😊
From what Dadaji told in yesterday's episode, he seems to be like a man of rules and old fashioned. So in case the truth is out, he may cancel the wedding as the boy's character isn't good either. Keeping the truth off from Dadaji is fine, but the others ought to know it. Especially Viren.

I wish Nisha had atleast spoken out to Ramesh and Lakshmi. At least they wouldn't be so worried. It would have been a moment of pride. They know Nisha's could never had done such a thing, but the truth would have given them satisfaction.

^Haha...Oh yes he is. I am sure this would actually make the cousins happy as they will look for a boy for Nisha or make Ritiesh the boy and try to get Nisha engaged to him. I wish they focus on Dolly's wedding and get to Nisha's track after that.

I agree. Why can't she open up to her parents? I would have thought she would be more comfortable with her parents.
