That’s why mentioned Nikaah and that was like 30 years back. If the heroine there was progressive what’s the problem in showing that now 2020 !!!

Yes! Nikaah was an exceptionally amazing movie and way ahead of its time.

I was thinking if Aman had been introduced the drama series in the west He would have been outright rejected

I can't agree totally to this point though. Because there are selfish and idiotic popular characters in West too. You still see people cry over Derek Shepherd who was another classics MCP. But you don't see that much appreciation for Ben or Link.

Only thing that makes West better is that there couple's aren't supposed to end up together even if it's the end of the world and women have backbone.

Except this male chauvinism is brought upon by the female audiences atleast the trp ones. Curious phenomenon

That's truly the biggest irony here!

Oh Salma’s aga’s acting was phenomenal & the songs

well you’re thinking Greys Anatomy which even there I don’t Aman would measure up but i was thinking of shows like Charmed Super girl Nancy. If you see in those shows the men have to go through hoops before being accepted by the audience. Forget about west even south korean ones audience would instantly reject Aman the would demand for a new hero. I know because I frequented their forums. The standard is really high.

That makes it doubly hard to see tv behind in these times.

I really want to know what goes in the head of those female audiences. Why do they prefer such heroes

I am telling you I general. Like normal drama or romcom which is watched by all age groups, there you can see such MCPs.

Shows which are based on women empowerment, will never show such things.

Point - there have been shows in India too where the creators never compromised the stories or characters like P.O.W then YMMKD. But such shows never got their due recognition unfortunately.

True!

Because they are high on hormones but their neurotransmitters don't work properly. 😛

Well i have seen it in most south asian dramas. Believe me those weren’t even women oriented dramas.

In Indian shows i only know about the 90’s the were progressive and there are some here as u said but due to trp’s sigh

Maybe we can write a horror science fiction story on them 😆

Okay, so finally am here...

I can't say much about the show as I have watched only two or at a maximum three episodes... So, I'll give my views based on whatever you guys have said.

Even my biggest issue is that Roshni always keeps on talking about self respect but that self respect is thrown out of the window at the first chance that she gets...

In real life, no woman with even an ounce of self respect would want to stay with such a husband for even a day. But here, sadly these two are supposed to end up together...no matter how much Aman insults her or kicks her out of the house.

What kind of a love is this where the husband continuously insults his wife, points a finger at her character, questions her upbringing, kicks her out of the house at the first chance that he gets? Moreover, what kind of a love is this where the husband has almost zero trust on his wife???

To all those female viewers who enjoy this crap, I want to say only one thing... I hope you get this kind of love in your real life too that you enjoy watching...

Now, coming to Rubina...

Junaid Khan cheated her, snatched away her house, company and even killed her brother and SIL and left her niece to die. On top of that, she was labelled the second woman and had to face all the hardships to raise her daughter as a single mother. Yet, she is there, helping the Khan family trying to ward off all the troubles.

Who does this in real life? In real life, a mother will always be concerned for her child first of all... She would definitely stake her claim on her property and ensure a safe life for her child.

Parveen... What to say? She knew everything yet remained silent. Why? Because she was financially dependent on her husband.

Also, wanted to know something else... What about Daadi? She too knew Junaid's truth. Yet she remained silent all these years and did not say even a word?

PS. Will take up your post on Nojor tomorrow...or maybe a little later.

I wrote only on my limited knowledge as well.

Add my well wishes as well. That's why i never liked that love story from the beginning.

Yeh love story nahi horror story 😱 hai !

That's what astounds me

At that point when they shot the story i guess the Jinn angle wasn't added there. As an ordinary female it makes sense

Also, wanted to know something else... What about Daadi? She too knew Junaid's truth. Yet she remained silent all these years and did not say even a word?

Yes Daadi knew & kept silent

Sarabhai ka line yaha par yaad agaya. "Hypocrisy main ye log jeete hain..." it was part of that song.

At the very least they should have vacated the house. If the bro & his wife had been alive They would never tolerated Junaid's first wife's entire family here much less give the company 😕

So where do they get the audacity to start with doosri aurat drama

parveen is worried about people talking about Junaid's 2 marriages but where did that self -respect go living on someone else's money

I wrote only on my limited knowledge as well.

Well, at least you have watched it for a longer time as compared to me... So, your knowledge about the show is more than mine...

Add my well wishes as well. That's why i never liked that love story from the beginning.

Of course...

I never considered their story as a love story...and I will never consider it.

Yeh love story nahi horror story 😱 hai !

Well, for us it may be a horror story...but for those fans, it is definitely a 'love story'...

That's what astounds me

Of course... Even I am astounded.

Initially, I thought that this house, property and company belonged to that couple who could have been Junaid's business partners. But I had never imagined that they were Rubina's bro and SIL.

So, when I read this, I was even more shocked that she did absolutely nothing to safeguard her daughter's future...

At that point when they shot the story i guess the Jinn angle wasn't added there. As an ordinary female it makes sense

I agree... As an ordinary female it definitely makes sense.

Yes Daadi knew & kept silent

Wow!! What an amazing thing!!!

She knew that her son was a cheater and murderer yet she remained silent... Absolutely great!!!

Sarabhai ka line yaha par yaad agaya. "Hypocrisy main ye log jeete hain..." it was part of that song.

Agree completely... Hypocrisy main ye log jeete hain...

At the very least they should have vacated the house. If the bro & his wife had been alive They would never tolerated Junaid's first wife's entire family here much less give the company 😕

Definitely... Rubina's bro and his wife would never have tolerated Junaid's first wife and his entire family.

Agree completely... They are more worried about Junaid's 2 marriages. But that self respect goes out of the window regarding them living on someone else's money...
