Okay! Now I am on rant mood so bear with me.
I was reading the basic plot and reviews and the first thing that came to my mind was what do they think of youngsters? And why can't we have a normal representation?
Like, which girl falls for a boy with bad reputation just because it feels dangerous? Ladkiyon ki akkal ghas nahi chadne jaati just because samne wala banda hot ho.
And I don't know what they showed in the movie but as per wiki, the hero was asked to wait because of IDDAT and he couldn't wait for 4 months! If a person is so desperate how do you expect me to believe he would be faithful for the rest of their lives!!!

This is something that I completely dislike.
Honestly speaking, a girl will fall for a boy with a bad reputation because it feels dangerous only when she would be out of her mind. No sane girl will ever do this...
As you said, ladkiyon ki akal ghaas charne nahi jaati... But kya kare, they have been showing this ghisa-pita plot since a long time...

And I agree... If a person is so desperate and cannot wait for 4 months, I can't believe that he will be faithful for the rest of their lives... But then, they have to show it this way...after all, this is their so-called deep and true love or whatever...
At the end of the day, I find the basic idea regarding ROMANCE and BOLD CONCEPTs totally shitty.
Like, there is nothing in-between and you have to show and glorify extremes which is unbelievably stupid.
I was reading reviews on Adulting and I agree with most of them like they have used unnecessary slangs and the way they showed them partying - it's hard to believe they are broke. This was the same issue Madhura and I wrote Mahabharat on that why do you need to use slangs or show people smoking or drinking because a lot of us don't do that.
Anyway, I was reading this review where someone mentioned the conversation Nikhat had with her mom, he/she was expecting Nikhat and Ray to be lovers and that would be a good plot-twist and I was like WTF!!! Just because it's a web show does it have to address controversial issues mandatorily?
Can't girls have that one close friend who becomes your sister and confidante in the worst phases of your lives. From which angle Ray seemed like Nikhat's lover? 🤬 🤬 🤬
It's like even the criticts have made their mind that a Web Series would be good only if it portrays dark or controversial topics. I would literally slap this person hard if he/she ever came in front of me.
