Well, first and foremost, I won't call you a Grinch cos I myself fall in your category...

Well, both of us are GAPs and that too of special category. So I am not surprised. 😉 Plus, I had told this earlier too that I don't see the logic of love blossoming in sufferings. Plus, only read synopsis in WiKi so the tragic tales actually irritated me with the primary focus always being on the girl being extremely beautiful.

Okay, so the description of the pilot episode has me in splits... I really feel for the bff of the FL. I can actually imagine her face...

Definitely they had to turn the scene dramatic ultimately (which BTW didn't surprise me) but I really enjoyed reading the entire description.

Well, this is one of the scenes of my Bhandar which I am going to share when you are free. 😈 😈 😈 But yes, the entire crews' reaction was hilarious. 🤣 🤣 🤣

Another thing which I noticed by the 4th or 5th time as I had FFed Suman's bhashan during the first time, 🤪 I loved the way Suman was looking at Badal. Because Badal actually got quite pissed that all of a sudden she became enraged and did that Tandav on the stage. It was their good luck that the students applauded her stand but until that moment, every crew on the stage was tensed and in complete shock with the turn of events.

So that one look Suman had, first the apologetic one for losing control and then a stern one while looking at the audience as she stood by her words - I believe Pranali did a more than decent job there. 👏 👏 👏

It was indeed good to see that the girl is actually genuinely loved by both her uncles and elder aunt... Warna in most of the shows with a rural backdrop, they show the entire family treating the girl as a burden...

True! TBH, everyone had their own agenda and it's only normal that you'll think about your own kids too. But at least that didn't mean they went on to gang up on her. Her choti chachi did but still, the affection part was greater and it was adorable. I particularly loved it when her badi chachi tried to persuade PP to forgive her when she first declared her love in front of the entire family.

Now, coming to the tragic sequences... The description of these sequences made me emotional. I was almost on the verge of tears while reading those scenes...
This is actually one reason why I mostly avoid watching such shows...cos I feel really sad while watching.

Me too! 😭 😭 😭 I have enoungh problems in my personal life, I don't need more. But sometimes certain shows make you enjoy the tragic scenes too. All I can say is, this show gave me enough heartache within their 50 episodes which certain Tachycardia Winner Show could never do to me.

I myself don't understand why they are obsessed with the cheerharan thing so much... Personally, I don't like to watch such sequences.
Anyways, I agree with you that it is even more shattering when you see someone powerful falling from his/her grace...

Me too! In fact, I was disgusted with the BHOOTU sequence because it was way beyond glorification. But here the sequence was quite realistic. I think they tried to include the most basic points from Sairat as there too, Archi almost got gang-raped. Now there she was saved by someone else, here being a drama series the ML did the honors.

I am almost crying while reading this part... And I can understand how you must have felt when you watched this part...

Now, coming to the acting portion... I won't say much cos I haven't watched it. But again, going by your review, I am really very impressed with each one of them, especially Pranali.

For me, the best actor has been Sai Ballal who played PP. Then comes Pranali because she got to play a lot. Certain scenes were quite dramatic because as I said, they typical Lady Devdas drama. But I guess what Kinshuk said in their IV is true. Being a daily soap, they had the advantage to delve more into the emotional aspects.

The most realistic part according to me has been Suman's flipping. The girl who openly challenged the society and swore she wouldn't elope, she was forced to do the same things when she got to know about her father's face. Episode 47 was brilliant in that aspect because she told the truth - she was tired and she got defeated. Finally she realized hatred won over her love because they were practically powerless in front of the prevailing system.

It broke my heart when in her monologue she said - TUMHARE LIYE APNI JAAN DE SAKTI HOON PAR USME KUCH FAIDA NAHI. AGAR MERE ZINDA REHNE SE AUR YEH DEAL ACCEPT KARNE SE TUMHARI ZINDEGI ABAAD HOTI HAIN, TOH PHIR YAHI SAHI. UMEED KARTI HOON KI EK DIN TUM SAMJHOGE KI MAINE AISA KYUN KIA. 😭 😭 😭

But yes, he was not a full fledged black character there... His retribution was shown perfectly there. He totally amazed me with his acting there... Also, now he is going to play the character of Shakuni in Radha Krishn on Star Bharat.

Anyways, back to the show... I do agree, since it was a daily soap they had the advantage to delve more into emotional aspects...
