Ohh! Where do you stay?

Lucknow... All schools and colleges in entire Uttar Pradesh are closed for the next three days. Getting bored at home...

Same Nikki!! Hi5. Anyday, even I said that Baazigar and Aman are totally way higher than Roshan. Cos both have such an understanding, depth and maturity! Baazigar is really fabulous and truly cares for Aman.

They have to! He can do some, but not major magic. I see for Roshan too, and PS but then Baazigar is heart of the show and balance..even I will quit if he isn't there.

Hi5. Well, I haven't actually started watching it regularly but I watch Baazigar's scenes...

Well, Baazigar will have to return... They can't just kill him off.

That's a different and interesting topic, and books can be so intense with words. Ohh!

Couldn't agree more.

Thanks. It's more, but it's kinda...dunno. Yes, like I have loved Roshan scenes and their chemistry and all is good, but then my mood spoils when they justify Roshni and call her nonsense as cute.

Well, some of their scenes are cute. But as soon as Roshni opens her mouth my BP rises. 🤢

Yes, you should!! Though randomness in 2nd part made no sense, but for Baazigar you should see..and share your views.

Just watched the scene. I am crying now. 😭 The BGM added more feel to the scene. 😭

😃

Well can understand, cos often she is in self obsession mode or stupid mode.

Ohh!😭 Indeed. It was executed so beautifully, could connect and feel. Baazigar and Aman have more chemistry..if I may say so.

I agree. I really love these sorts of bonds like between siblings or friends. Even though the entire work was done with VFX but he was so cute and funny. 🥺

Seriously?!!!👏

Just wanted to discuss today how they messed show and why had I quit.

So I loved the show when it started, a mature relationship, Ishra were great and Ruhi. Loved Ishita's character, everything was great, even Shagun cos she was villain. Families and all...

But I literally lost it when Shagun was totally made black, am happy later she had a character development..and Anita slayed and is terrific, one of my favs. Plus I loved Mihika and Mihir, their story was fabulous, so IshRa plotting them to confess was fab. But later way Ishita forced Mihir to marry someone else, was horrible!! Then I quit the show, then Adi causing accident somewhere track was overdone.

Had read, that Ishita killed Adi, and that was disgusting. There was no need to make him so messy. Basically show never went beyond Ishra.

Don't you think somewhere Khkt is going same way? Like it's good and all, but marriage drama is going so overboard...plus Raima made total villain, like earlier she wanted to shift but Sonakshi forced her to stay at Rohit's place till marriage is done. Then this week she messed and again wanted to leave, but Rohit forced her to stay and ofc now she will do something extreme. Like RS are never wrong..and I find RS too good to be true. It's good show, scenes and all is fine but don't you think characters need to be flawed or you got it?

Ha ha! Great minds think alike 😎

I don't remember from which point I actually started watching YHM. I loved the promos but by then I was very much into American shows and Ekta had destroyed my favorite serial when I was a teenager. So I was never planning on to watch another Indian show on a regular basis.

The first thing that caught my attention was that they showed Ruhi to be the one to change Ishita's life forever. At first, I was like - wow! groundbreaking!!! You'll meet someone who'll change your life. But when they showed a kid, I was impressed.

Thanks to Once Upon A Time & my own experience, I have always loved the concept where a foster mother loves her kid to the moon. Same reason I was drawn to Bhootu. But that's another topic.

The thing I loved most was the relevance of IshRa. We don't really see our parents to be all lovey dovey. But in their day to day life, they have become accustomed to each other and that's how they express their love.

IshRa for me was like that. Specially KP and DT really complimented each other. Not to mention Ruhanika's acting and how cute she is.

But Raman started becoming too loud, too blind in Adi's love and Shagun was portrayed to be pure evil. Although the scene where Raman explained to Adi that he can't sacrifice his marital life just because Adi is his son - that was pure gold.

I wish Piya had said something like that to RiAd. Because don't get me wrong, in name of parental love they show absolutely rubbish in ITV.

I had continued to watch YHM for so long as I became DT's fan. Specially during the custody battle and because the way she carried herself after her break-up with Sharad. I genuinely started admiring her as a person.

But then the story went on and on and destroyed the very essence with the leap. I could never forgive Raman for the way he misbehaved with Ishita and the words he had chosen.

Post leap I watched for IshRu but I genuinely liked Aliya and Ishita more. But they had to mess those relations also.

Shagun is the ultimate scapegoat. Anita portrayed it brilliantly but Ekta messed it up. There have been many complaints about Ekta's nepotism and can't really take it lightly. But I honestly feel she should have shown a proper ending for Shagun's character and cast Anita somewhere else.

And of course, blind FD has been there who had to find problem in Shagun irrespective of the situation. At times I actually found IshRa to be the culprit but you can't say that out loud without being termed as a HATER.

I didn't enjoy Adi and Aliya very much. Adi was a world class hypocrite. But he did become a good husband at the beginning and I tried to watch it for Krishna Mukherjee. The girl can be brilliant providing a good script is given to her. You can watch their wedding episode and laer her outburst when she felt Bhallas insulted Mani.

But then they introduced Aliya's college friend, Adi became too hard to tolerate with his insecurity and after that even I couldn't watch.

I used to read WU but the negativity would give me palpitation. I have actually forgotten when was the last time I had seen an episode or read WU.

I am glad it's finally ending.

As for characters, I like positive characters but I love layered or flawed characters. I enjoyed the actual novel very much. But from the point they made Ishita too good and too patient while Ruhi bacame a Dadi-amma, I started losing interest.

About KHKT, I didn't have high hopes from it as it was Sickand's show. Plus I had some misconception regarding Deepika, thanks to her stunt in SSK. The fashion show episode completely ruined my interest because it was the signature mark of Ekta. A hero with golden heart who can conveniently insult anyone because of his family.

I have heard Gul is famous for abusive MLs. But I had once watched an episode of IPKKND in Hotstar and genuinely felt Raman was 1000000 times worse than him. Sickand destroyed Raman's character so I never had high hopes from Rohit. Now it's probably becoming a typical daily soap. So I am not interested even a bit.

Nushy - You have seen yhm way more than me. Plus you have summed up everything so beautifully. Would actually agree cos you have seen and followed the show a Lot! I totally agree, on Raman being extremely horrible and doing worse things. I have followed quite a lot of ipk and thought though he had his flaws, but hadn't done some extremely horrible things like Raman.

Even I loved the show for Ruhi angle, way they told someone will change your life. I love such creative scenes. Even loved the fact Ishra continued working and always appreciate Ekta for that. Somehow Gul shows leads jobless without office, and that's something I can't connect to. Like however messed kzk is I love that Anurag goes to office.

I actually felt Raman abused Ishita a lot and she should not have taken it.

Blind Fd, gosh yes! There were sequences I loved Shagun more, in acting, scenes but if we say, we are dead. Clearly remember there was one particular dance sequence where I felt Shagun and Raman did fab dance as compared to Ishra. Ofc both are dancers, but people were still criticising Shagun and saying Ishra were best, lol.

I know of this thing people have against Anita. I find it disgusting. Cos there are so many favs of producers, and they take them. Also few actors too love working in same PH, they have bonding and connect. Also Anita has worked hard and proves her talent too. Yes, character should have been given a closure.

Thanks for telling me. Have seen few scenes of Aaliya, Adi, Ruhi. Found all of them decent, nothing great. Insecurity track is so much nonsense, could you tell me why shows always show guys being insecure?

Can understand why you quit.

Hi5. Even I love positive layered characters. True!

I had hopes from Khkt but they crashed as you know. True on fashion show episode. Yes, Rohit will also be messed. . later. We can't predict. It all starts well.

As I had told you, when we are watching one particular show, we get too much attached and after a certain point most of us feel - yeah, my show is the best. Plus a big reason for me to watch YHM was this FB group, where we used to discuss. There were so many good people and they were really respectful towards each other. That's what prompted me to join India Forums and let's just say, I was shocked seeing the negativity in particular forums.

About Anita, all I can say is, even if the rumor of nepotism is true, it's applicable to every sector. I am not saying it's okay or a good practice. I am just saying even when we drop our CV, if we have our seniors in that company, we do get some benefits. Communication is becoming one of the keys to success. So it didn't happen within one day. Kkavyanjali was a super successful show. But you would see some people would call Anita unsuccessful. So what can you say to them apart from leaving the forum yourself? Plus nepotism has double meaning. I have read comments in NK by a handful people who alleged Sana for using Eijaz as he is a director. But these same people went on and on about how Aditi and Zain should reap the benefit from NK. So see the level of hypocrisy here. 🤢 But personally, I feel even actors specially seasoned and experienced actors who have option, should voice out their opinion. Otherwise how would there be any change? Anita should have quit YHM long ago and Ekta should have been more considerate about fans.

Shagun was necessary but not an integral part of YHM. Even in the book the focus was on Raman and Ruhi. They could have showed so many angles like Adi accepting Ishita or another child that would make them jealous. Instead they chose surrogacy and made a complete mockery of infertile women.

A big and probably the most prominent reason for my pull towards YHM was one of my teachers, who got divorced because she was infertile. Every time I saw Ishita crying, I used to think about her. So when you see the mockery of such a sensitive issue, it's bound to enrage you.

Of the new lot, I liked Krishna and Aditi but disliked Abhishek. With due respect, the guy only gives one type of expression. Even when there were tons of opportunities, he couldn't shine. But he was hailed as Adi's character was introduced as a shipper of IshRa post leap. 🤢 Whereas Krishna was brutally trolled for being Ishita's foster daughter and DT had come in support of her.

About good guys getting insecure, Adi as a character had always been selfish. He even resorted to domestic violence. So let's not talk about him. But always bringing a third angle doesn't make any sense.

Jealousy is understandable. There are some people in my life without whom I am afraid, I won't survive. So I get the insecurity part. But I believe in working on it and staying positive. Which I have seen in both YMMKD and Nazar.

In YMMKD, Mukhi was insecure regarding Aru being younger and educated. While he has been the most feminist and supporting ML I have ever seen, as a human being, he also had his shortcomings and felt he didn't deserve her. And there was a sequence where Aru told him that the age difference won't be there if they aren't together. So would he want that? All he had to was to believe in their love and look at the bright side. After which Mukhi agreed to her demand and promised her that he would try.

Piya did the same thing. On every occasion she became Ansh's strength.

But in TRP topper shows the third angle and the MU that follows - always destroy the essence of the characters; specially in Ekta's shows.

I won't be exaggerating if I say Raman is the worst ML I have ever come across. And I completely blame Ishita for that. She kept on giving him chance after chance and the guy was too arrogant to admit his fault.

Another reason for PiyAnsh entering my list of favorite couples. Piya could give up her life for Ansh but she had never let him treat her as a doormat and Ansh always had the decency to accept his mistakes.

Coming to employment, I believe it's extremely important for women. But honestly, Ishita's character made me realize that it's only a tool but you need inner strength to fight the world. She was a dentist, completed MBA also but she has never been anything more than a doormat. While Piya is a homemaker but still has spunk. If I have to choose, I'll choose Piya over Ishita any day.

But definitely, a job is important. But a financially independent FL no longer symbolizes strength to me; all thanks to Ishita.

Thanks for sharing your views. Considering you are way too attached to yhm, not going to discuss more cos I agree to many points but not all, cos experiences differ.

But yeah, definitely talking about job part. I meant FL working yes, but was actually stressing on showing office, mentioned Anurag. ML atleast needs to work cos money doesn't come from thin air. You prefer Piya is your choice. Spunk and all is fine, but if extreme things happen..at end of the day you have to earn atleast for survival. So job is equally important, ofc being a home maker is fine but, balance is needed.
