Possibly as Naveen said, it is just a punishment. And it will suit Ru just fine coz the can be like human until the braid is returned. Which Mo might do eventually coz she does need an assistant.

I think for Ruby to get her powers back she will just need her braid again. Remember when Mohana was trapped, her braid was also locked in another box, so when she got released from the box, so did the braid and Mohana got her powers back. I think once Pia comes to Rathod house, Moahan will give Ruby back her braid because if Mohana knows what affect a Daivik has on a DV, then she would need Ruby to have her Dayaan's power to manipulate and seduce Ansh.

I agree with you Tabby. We will have to tolerate Ruby as Ansh's wife and Naman as Pia's fiance for litte while more. Mohana and Ruby will do everything in their power to make sure that Ansh can never marry Pia. It won't be easy for PiAnsh.

Oh yes Mo will try her best to keep Ansh away from Piya. Plus Ansh needs some time to develop feelings for Piya as well. Cause today I felt it was all about saving his mom n not about getting his Piya. I want his feelings to develop properly I want to see his possessiveness for her.

Mohana's cutting off Ruby's braid could turn the story either way. On on hand Mohana will need Ruby to be a Dayaan so she can seduce Ansh into consummating their marriage so she can get pregnant with Ansh's child. But at the same time if Ansh brings Pia back and she is successful in saving Vedshree from being entombed, than Ruby will be far more useful to Mohana if Ruby appears to be human because then Ansh will be stuck with Ruby as his wife and won't be able to marry Pia. It remains to be see as to why CV's took this route, because this twist is done for a reason.

I think we're over thinking a simple event of Mo punishing Ru , which is her usual act of keeping Ruby in line , so that her implicit obedience doesn't waver.

Ru becoming human isn't going to help her to stick around because the entire family knows that Ru was a daayan , and now that Ansh knows that Ru was lying about being a daivik, he has no reason not to believe his family, especially Ved if they so insist that Ru was a dayan.

Only thing that can work in Ru's favor is if she was actually a normal girl converted to dayan ( I always suspected this because in that case the converted person automatically becomes the slave of the original dayan by default and had to abide by her orders , which Ruby does , plus she's not old or powerful like Mo . ).

Yes I know😆. She will try all her best but as we already saw he is simply not interested in her at all. Ansh knows her partial truth and the rest knows her full truth. So she has only Ansh to show her sympathy on. Also I think none of the cousins like her that much. If the marriage breaks it will be Ansh doing it from his end.

Yes it will just be a phase for Ru. That is what I feel worst about. That soon again she will gain her true form back.
