TOI: Visibility of actor matters - Barkha - Page 2

I agree that we relate to the character and not the actor. One may like the actor's work, but what we see on screen is the character. Like, I hate Sweety nowadays, but actually like ST more for acting in such a way that the character got onto my nerves. Mixing up actor and character creates all sort of problems, people start hating up on actor rather than character, and fans start taking anything against the character ans an insult to actor.

You people are looking for sensibility in YT comments? 😆 Sweety will accept Siddhant as her guru before that happens. 😆

As to Barkha's role as Pinky, I am liking it. They have made her character more lively, and added that drama queen feel, you know whenever anything happens, she is with her tissue box. 😆 Definitely the character has changed and I think it helped in the transition of actors too.
