CHAPTER 2:The OPINIONS ARE FORMED
"So what can you do for my company?" Asked Anant with a twisted smile. His eyes fixed on her not blinking an eyelid for once.
Navya was unconsciously wrapping the corner of her dupatta on her finger and was finding it hard to keep an eye contact with him. He was noticing her every single move.
"I..I will t..tr---"
"Stop."
She stopped and looked at him confusedly.
"Have water."
Navya blinked her eyes twice in astonishment while he shook his head amusingly. He handed her a glass of water which she took slowly. Their hands touched in the process. Navya quickly took the glass and gulped in one sip making him giggle which she didn't notice.
"Now take a deep breath and talk slowly." He told her with a assuring smile.
Navya was amazed by his behavior. Till now she has only heard negative about him but this was something new for her.
"Sir, I will try to give whatever is in my best ability. I can't assure whether the best which I can give will be sufficient but it will be no less for the company to bear a loss anyway. I will always be honest with my work and will respect my job."
This time she genuinely smiled at him.
"Impressive" Said Anant as he took a deep breath."Give me your bio-data."
Navya handed him the same.
Anant read her name and said,"So Miss Navya you are hired for the job. I hope you will stick by what you said just now."
Navya's happiness knew no bounds. He returned the file back which she took happily but just then something click her mind.
"But sir, won't you go through my bio-data?"
"I don't need to do so Miss Navya. I know you are the best for my company and for me as well." He added the last words in his mind.
"So you can start from tomorrow on words. Be at 9:00 o'clock sharp but before you go, here is the company's contract. Sign them."
She signed the contract with a smile.
"I will. Thank you so much Sir." Saying so, Navya got up from the seat and leaves the room.
"It will be all my pleasure." Thought Anant with a smirk.

"Rits..Rits..Rits...I am so happy." Navya held her best friend and twirled her all around.
"Navya, stop it yaar. I am feeling dizzy" She said as she finally stopped her.
"Okay now here's the news, I finally got a job."
"Oh my God! We are going to work in the same office."
They jumped in excitement and finally hugged each other. Navya fed her sweet which she took a bite and fed her the rest. It was after all a happy day for both of them.

Navya took the first step in her new office. She wanted to enter along with her best friend but Ritika was still unwell.
"Hello Navya, I am Sara, Anant sir's personal Assistant. He told me to show you your desk. Come with me."
Navya nodded and followed her. She showed her the workplace and briefed her about the work she has to do. Navya smiled and sat on her desk.
"All the best." Said Sara.
"Thank you." Said Navya and she went from there.
Navya kept her bag on the desk and as she was taking something out, she heard some noises. As she peeped from her desk, she saw Anant entering in his office. He looked hot in a black colored suit with his hair gelled up. Her heart skipped a beat. Everyone stood from their places and greeted him but he replied none. Navya frowned at his act. He stopped at Navya's desk who was still sitting lost in some thoughts.
"Good morning miss Navya"
Navya was quick to recognize the voice and immediately stood at her place.
"Go..good Morning Sir." She replied sheepishly.
"What thoughts made you lost so much that you forgot to greet your own boss? He asked as he raised his eyebrows.
"No..no..sir nothing." Mumbled Navya.
He took a step forward making her take a step back and ultimately bumping the table. He bent close to her leaving an inch distance between them and whispered in her ears," I won't mind if you were lost in my thoughts." He smirked and moved back making her shock. She could still feel his hot breath lingering in her ear. He gave a mock smile and went from there leaving her with flushed cheeks.
"How dare he? I was so wrong yesterday thinking him to be a gentleman but he is the same arrogant person." Thought Navya angrily and sat on her desk again. She decided to divert her mind and took out a small Shivji idol from her bag and placed it on her table. She touched Shivji's feet and took blessing from him.
From above the glass cabin, Anant was witnessing the sight below.
"You will be quite an interesting topic for me, miss Navya." He gave a side smile as she started doing her work.
