Annie and navya went to the office as per usual. navya never really wanted to go but Annie persuaded her in the name of her business venture. They both walked in and Anant's attention changed from his Bluetooth to navya. "Hi", he said in a flirty way.
"Namaste"...she stammered. Annie hid her smile and bit her lips. "navya how was Arhan?"
"Good..he is with ritika". He nodded his head.
"navya I got something to give you". He handed her some papers. She looked at him confused.
"This is my latest will..all that I have is yours and Aryan's..if anything ever happens to me". navya looked on shocked and then pained by the thought of something happening to him. She became angry again. "I don't want all this..I know what you're trying to do but you can't win my trust by money". She threw the papers on his desk. "navya its not to win your trust..it's for your and Arhan's security".
"I don't need your security Anant..I coped without you before and I will cope even now..I do have self-respect you know..so keep your wealth to yourself". He looked on feeling gutted and picked up the papers. "navya I won't change the will despite what your self-respect says".
"navya Di don't you think your over reacting?" Annie hesitantly butted in. "Annie please stay out of this, I know he is a smooth talker but I won't fall for his trap this time". Anant felt hurt that she still suspected his motives.

navya came back home seething. She started pacing the hallway. "How dare he think that he can pacify me like this...I'm not going to let him affect me...muje koi farak nahin parta..no navya you got yourself a job and you don't need his money". ranbir and ritika sat next to each other smirking and looking at navya.
"Uh navya what happened? What has Anant done now?" ritika asked nudging ranbir.
navya stopped and looked at them amazed how did they know her anger was due to him.
"anant thinks by handing me and Arhan his wealth in his will he can soften me..but its not going to work..."ritika came near navya and put her hand on her shoulder. "But navya thats not a bad thing even ranbir has done that...he has put all his property on my name in his will". navya felt she had done something wrong.
ranbir suddenly got up and came near them. "What you saying ? How could you?" He winked at ritika continuing with his reverse psychology. "After what he done to navya? So what if he is repenting badly it does not matter...what he has done is unforgivable..he never cared for her before why should he now? He should leave not a even a dime for navya or Arhan..you cannot put things right by placing security for your family for their future..and plus navya starting her job as a librarian soon so she doesn't need his money..so what if she can give all the luxury to Arhan from his father's money what matters is pride"
navya turned around feeling like she had done something wrong. She began biting her nails. ranbir and ritika looked on they had thrown the arrow and it even hit the spot.

Anant walked in to pick Arhan up for his trip to the park. As soon as he got in he bumped into navya. navya began feeling uncomfortable. "navya you still angry with me? Anger is not good for you..its self destructing..".
"As if you care!" she looked the other way. He was about to reply that Aryan came running with his ball. Anant swiftly picked him up. "Hey man whassup?!"
"Beta how are you?" asked dadima from a distance. He went near her and touched her feet. "I'm fine what about you dadima? health good?" she nodded her head. ranbir and ritika cted indifferent towards Anant, just exchanging glances and nods.
"Anant can we take Ma as well please?" Arhan pleaded.
navya looked at Arhan and made a O shape with her mouth. "It's okay Arhan you go with your friend".
"But Ma I don't like going anywhere without you".. he pouted his mouth.
Anant looked on hoping she would come. He looked at ritika asking her to intervene. ritika took navya by the arm a bit far and began whispering.
"navya what are you doing?"
navya looked on confused. "What if Anant turns Arhan against you and takes him away..I was reading a similar story in the news paper this morning..where a dad came after years and influenced the child so badly that he did not want to know his mother...and I am your sister I know how much Arhan means to you...just go with them..not for Anant..I mean just to keep an eye".
navya looked back at Anant and Arhan. "Your right Arhan is so impressionable..and he is a kid..I am the mature one here..I need to protect him".
They both came back and joined the others. "Okay Arhan I am coming too". Arhan clapped his hands and asked Anant to hurry and take them.
At the park Anant played football with Arhan. "Come on son..you want to be Ronaldo or Messi? You gotta do better than that! What the! Ahhh mannn come let me get you a drink". She stood near the swings admiring their camaraderie. She smiled at them. Anant looked back at navya looking at them, and she quickly turned around. He smirked at catching her out.
He continued playing with Arhan and glancing at navya here and there. "Anant can you stop looking at Ma and pass me the ball!" navya looked at Anant uncomfortably and Anant continued passing the ball.
"Anant I want an ice cream". He heard the ice cream van approaching the park with a tune. Anant took Arhan and bought him one ice cream and bent down.
"Son go and give this to your mum". navya looked on curious what he had told Aryan. "I bet he is turning my son against me"she pouted.
Arhan came towards her carefully making sure the ice cream never fell.
"Ma..here's your ice cream Anant gave it..take it na?"
She took the ice cream and saw Anant walking towards her with another ice cream cone. "Here buddy this is yours". navya looked away contemplating whether to eat the ice cream.
"navya eat the ice cream it will melt". She looked into his eyes and then at her ice cream. "Come on mum..lets see who finishes first..okay ready...steady..go!"
navya and Arhan began racing each other playfully. navya was smiling and eating away. Anant bfolded his arms and smiled. He looked at the way navya licked her ice cream. He sighed...he noticed the ice cream smeared on her cheek he came near and wiped it off. She looked really affected.
"So navya tume koi farak nahin parta..? So why have your cheeks gone red?" She looked into his desirable filled eyes and touched her cheek which had gone hot.
Arhan looked at both of them and interrupted. "Guys I am here you know..Anant you wiped Ma's ice cream why not mine?" Anant smirked and pulled Arhan up. "Here you go happy? Now let's go home hmmm?"
On the way back Aryan fell asleep in his car seat. navya felt strange as he was asleep and she did not know how to behave anymore in front of Anant.
"navya Maan was telling me that you are starting your job as librarian tomorrow?"
"Yes I am..you got a problem with that too?"
"Nope I like my woman to be independent...it's such a huge turn on!"
"Anant stop it! Don't you dare say that!"
"navya..it's not my fault you take my normal conversation as an amorous one" He arched his eyebrow and smirked. navya I know you been thinking about me..especially about the poolside.."
"STOP IT Anant.I DON'T THINK ABOUT YOU UNDERSTOOD...JUST KEEP YOUR DISTANCE FROM ME OKAY?!"
They soon reached and navya picked up Arhan as fast as she could and left. Anant plonked his head on the steering wheel. He knew he had a lot of work cut out for him. He looked on at her disappearing. "navya I Want you! I really do...when will you understand". With that he turned his engine on and put his car in first gear and put his handbrake down making his way back alone.
Anant stood at his poolside remembering his encounters with navya. He smiled and then began mulling over how he lost all those precious moments he could have shared with her when Arhan was coming into being. He knew he always loved her but he could not believe his childishness of dumping her like that.
**Flashback**
Both got into the car and felt awkhward since last night. navya sat there feeling tired but yet happy. "navya you don't regret about last night do you?" he asked her with concern.
She shook her head and he smiled.
He drove off and began smiling to himself of the wonderful relationship that had blossomed between him and navya. After a while of being immersed in his thoughts his mobile rang. Switching on his Bluetooth he carried on driving.
"Whassup anant?" said an excited Neil.
"I'm fine but whassup with you?"
"A little bird told me that navya has been all night in your house?" teased Neil.
He remained silent not really wanting to divulge anything. "I'm shocked Anant you not wanting to share you getting your leg over the girl that taunted you of not being her type and that you can't have her!".
Anant gritted his teeth. "That is none of your bloody business Neil".
"Don't tell me Anant you have developed a soft spot for her? I mean such a low class girl and you're making it out as if your about to marry her...are you going to marry her?" he was goading Anant.
"Nope you got it all wrong."
"Really? I think she has changed you Anant?"
"No one can change Anant no one".
"Really? Then prove it!"
"I will you will see...at the party."
He switched his Bluetooth on and rang Aman. "Aman type a letter saying navya is no longer needed in my prestigious company...call her and fire her".
"Bur sir..why?"
"Shut up Aman..do as I say".
**Flashback ended**
Anant was pained at how stupid he was in letting his ego take control over his heart and till this day Neil beat himself up for egging him on. Neil had learnt through nimi's death how wrong he was in asking Anant to dump her. Anant closed his eyes praying that god give me a chance to put things right with navya.

navya was trying to get the hang of things at the local library. First day was a bit difficult as she had to remember a lot of rules and regulations. The easiest thing was scanning and stamping the books that were being issued out.
She dressed in a dark green shalwar kameez was looking a delightful sight. She had this aura around her that attracted attention wherever she went. Anant walked into the library wanting to see his lady love. He could not remember the last time he had seen the library. Any book he wanted he just purchased it. His personal library was as big as the local library.
Like a boy who was looking for his first crush he began looking for her. Hisc eyes reached the customer service point. navya was talking to someone regarding a book. He just got lost with her beautiful face looking as glowing as ever. He folded his arms, her hair falling on her face and her charming way of pushing them back. Anant must have stood there for 30 minutes just intensely looking at her. He smiled she was in front of him and was alive and well.
"Hi sir, all these books going on this card?" navya asked. The man nodded. "Make sure you give them back by the 28th of this month".
Suddenly someone pushed a book called "101 to sweep your woman off her feet". navya looked up pleasantly surprised and then she looked at the customer.
"A..aa..aap?"
"Haan m m main" answered Anant.
"What you doing here?"
