CHAPTER 6 - Love Confession ❤️

"Baithe, baithe kya karein, karna hai kuch kaam. Shuru karein Antakshari leke God ka naam" said Sugandha and pointed towards Mohan. Mohan immediately sang,

And then finished on N. The whole time, Mohan was pointing to Sugandha and his dad indicating himself as Chandu and Sugandha as his girlfriend. 😉 Rushika sang from N in the other team.

And then stopped singing telling them to sing from ko. This sparked an argument between Mohan and Rushika which was very entertaining for the others. They argued back and forth,

"This is against the rules. You can't sing just two lines. You have to sing at least four lines and they should not be repetitive. You can ask Deepak uncle or my mom. You won't be getting points for that song."

"Oh please Mohan. You can sing 2 lines or sing 15 lines. It's the person's wish. Remember we could start and end anywhere?"

"Maybe you didn't hear the rules properly Rushi, but we can only begin from whichever part we wish, not finish. If you want to, ask uncle or anyone in your team. Eat almonds. Your memory will improve" 😆

The others who were getting tired now stopped the two of them and let Rushika get away with it but warned their team that this was the last time they would let this happen.

This time, it was Renuka who sang the song.

This time, everyone was silent and speechless hearing her beautiful voice. Suddenly, they heard a very, very odd voice singing,

Everyone closed their ears and opened it as soon as Harsh finished singing. 😆

"Harsh, shall I say something? Please try not sing from next time. Navya told him and everyone burst out laughing. 🤣

When she was done, everyone clapped for Navya and they had tears in her eyes. The elders especially since they had all lost someone dear and could connect to the song all too well. Sugandha went forward and hugged her and said, "Navya, you have a beautiful voice. You should try going in to the field of singing." 😊

Mohan said, "Yeah, you should. I recorded the song too so if you want to you can give it to a recording company."

Everyone started nodding and saying yes when Naina cleared her throat and said, "I think we've given the other team enough time to think already," then, pointing towards Harsh's team she said, "You have to sing with ha."

By the end of the song, everyone joined in because their ears weren't closed and song was also quite peppy. Harsh said, "You guys have to sing from tu."

Mohan's team was thinking because there was only one song that was striking to all four of them and they didn't want to sing that song because they didn't want to get teased. Naina finally picked up the courage after hearing Nimisha and Rushika's taunts,

Everyone started going ooh and ah including Sugandha and Om. Mohan asked her, "Naina, you didn't tell me you loved someone. Tell me who it is. I will break his legs and hands."😆 "Bhai, I don't love anyone. Anyway, you will be the first person to know so don't worry," Naina said tapping him on his hand and calming him down.

"Okay fine, we've reached now. It's a tie between both the teams until now. We can continue on our way back. It's enough for now. Let's go" said Om, noticing that they had reached. He picked up one of the picnic baskets while Harsh and Mohan picked up the other two. The others carried towels, cards, a ball among other things. As soon as they reached the spot, Mohan opened the picnic basket only to be hit by Sugandha. She scolded him saying all of them would eat together and closed the basket.

Meeta and Sugandha laid out the towels, plate and glasses for everyone and then opened the baskets and removed all the food. They had gotten 2 ice boxes along with them, one filled with ice water and the other filled with ice creams. Everyone had sandwiches, noodles, biriyani, special food made by Meeta and everything was done by the time they finished. The kids fought for the ice creams with the elders calming them down. When they were all done, the younger ones decided to play blindfold catch.

The first person to be blindfolded was Mohan. They were allowed to blindfold themselves so Mohan tied his blindfold tighty on his forehead and loosened it below his eyes so that he could see everyone's feet. He started moving when he saw Navya's feet. Navya who thought the game hadn't started was busy admiring the nature view. Before anyone could warn her, she was caught by Mohan.

"Your turn to be blindfolded Navya. This time, I will be the one tying the blindfold because I know for a fact that bhai cheated" said Nikhita while glaring at Mohan. Mohan chuckled and Nikhita went up to tie the blindfold for Navya. She added, "You also have to count till ten and only then move to catch us."

As soon as she was blindfolded, Anant came out from behind a tree 😉 and signaled thumbs up to Nikhita and Mohan 👍🏼 and told everyone else to remain quiet. He grabbed her by the hand and dragged her and Navya immediately started shouting for help. They reached a secluded are when Anant opened her blindfold and placed a finger on her lips. He said, "You've interrupted me many times but now you'll be silent. I love you Navya...I Love you a lot. 😛 and I want to know whether you love me. Do you love me? Give me an answer." Navya lowered her eyes ☺️ indicating his finger. He immediately removed it. Navya replied, "Finally. Of course I love you Mr. Obvious. Took you long enough to realize that" and then hugged him. 😳 Anant kissed her on her forehead...
