It was Sunday evening and Navya was impatiently waiting for Anant at the airport. Renu and Dadi are going back to Kanpur.They didn't realize how four days are passed. Anant felt like being a part of the family and these were the most memorable days of his life. Both Anant and Navya didn't get time to spend alone but Navya was too happy that Dadi and Renu accepted him whole heartedly. She was amazed seeing Anant taking care of her Dadi like his own she felt more respect towards him. Till now Dadi too worried about her but seeing them together like this she was relaxed thinking that she has finally someone in her life and she seems so happy.

Chapter-26

'Yeh Anant kahan rah gaya?'Navya said and instantly thought to check herself seeing the rush near parking lot.

'Dadi !! I am just coming.' Navya said and leaves from there.

'Wait!! Navya I'll come with you.' Sushant said while following her.

Navya walk towards parking lot where she saw Anant talking to very beautiful girl. She felt strange bcoz she never saw him talking to any girl like this. Suddenly someone shoved her resulting in dropping her phone.

'Oh god!!' she exclaimed as she tried to find it out in the crowd.

It took a few second to locate it but when she stood up she found him he was not there. She looked all around but he was nowhere to be seen.

'Kahna chala gaya aur.. voh ladaki kon thi?' she was lost in her thoughts when she felt a light tap on her shoulder. She turned instantly and said

' Ana..' but stop in mid as she saw Sushant standing there.

'Navya I told you to wait na then why you didn't?' Sushant chided her. She realized that he was saying something but she didn't pay much attention.

Navya ( to herself) 'Was I just imagining that?'

One the other side

'Dadi yeh aap ke liye' said a voice while wrapping a shawl around her shoulder.

Dadi turned to see Anant was standing there with smile.

Dadi :Where were you beta? You know how much Navya was worried about you?

'Sorry Dadi bahut traffic tha.' Said Anant ' acha Dadi aapko shawl kaisa laga?'

'Hellloo!! I am talking to you.' Sushant said while moving his finger in front of her eyes which brings her back from her stupor.

'Ohhh!! What were you saying?'

'Someone is getting restless huh?'Sushant said teasingly and winked.

'Stop it Sushant!! ' Navya said exasperatedly as she made her way back to Dadi and Renu.

Sushant : (to himself)what happened to her?

It's beautiful.'Dadi said with smile while moving her hand over it. 'per is ki kya zarurat thi beta.'

'vo... Dadiii..actually I bought this when I got my first project.' He said with smile and Dadi looked at him. She was really touched by his gesture.

'Thank you so much beta. Mein ise hamesha sambhal kat rakhungi.' Dadi said lovingly while keeping her hand on his cheek.

'Dadii why are you saying thanks to me? I did only what I feel right.'

Anant didn't know why but there was something about Navya's dadi that always reminds him of his own dadi. He has never thought his life will take such a beautiful turn. He was feeling himself the luckiest person in the world.

'Ananttt tum yahan ho?'

They turned to looking in the direction of voice and saw Navya standing there keeping her hands on her waist and Sushant few feet away from her.

'When did u come? I was looking for you.' Navya said with little anger.

'I was just coming that I got an important call and then traffic.' And she just gave a faded smile.

'Dadi I think you should proceed for check in now.' Sushant said looking at the watch.

'Ya Dadi Sushant is right but where is Di now?' she queried.

Dadi: Vo gudiya was feeling hungry so she has just gone to bring something for her to feed.

'Lo aa gayi' Dadi said instantly as she indicate towards the Renu.

When Renu found all r looking at her she quickly take her steps.

Sushant:Acha hua Di aap aa gayi.

Renu:I guess it's time to leave then?

'Yeah' Navya making sad face.

Dadi: Anant !! Navya had suffered a lot in past one year but it seems that now she got all the happiness and love that every parents wished. I just want to request that always keep her happy ...' but Anant interrupted her in mid.

'Dadiii why are requesting me?? Pls don't embarrassing me like this? I'll never give you a reason to complaint and I'll try my best to keep her happy always.' Anant assured her with smile and then added 'And don't worry Dadi jaise hi papa U.S. se wapis aa jayengey mein unse baat karunga.' Dadi sighed in relief after hearing him and Navya just looked at him awe.

'Thanks beta you have released a great burden from my heart.' Dadi said to Anant and then to Navya

' Ok beta Apna dhayan rakhna.' Dadi said softly.

' Aap bhi apna dhyan rakhna.' Navya said while hugging her.

Everyone bid bye to each other.

All three of them watched Renu and Dadi until they get inside.

Anant noticed that Navya was looking low and he can clearly understand the reason that she must be missing her family especially her parents.

Anant: (trying to cheer her up) Come on let's go for shopping as there is still lot of time in dinner.

Navya:Nahi Anant mera mann nahi hai.

'This is really unbelievable. Tu shopping ke liye mana kar rahi hai.'Sushant said and Navya just gave an angry glare to him.

'I was just kidding.' He tried to defend but right now she was not in mood.

'But I don't think that was funny.' Navya replied with a pout.

'Mein toh..'Sushant just opened his mouth but Anant gestured her to not say anything.

'Acha fine you don't want to go for shopping per abhi yahan se toh chalo.'Anant said with a sweet smile and Navya nodded her head in yes.

'Ok then let's go.' Anant said forwarding his hand in the direction.

Sushant:No ,Anant I can't. You guys carry on.

'Abh zyada nekhray mat dikha aur chal.' Navya chided him.

'Nahi Navya mujhe kabab mein haddi ban ney ka shok nahi hai.' Sushant said with sly grin.

Navya turned adorable shade of pink at the remark and Anant couldn't ignore that as whenever she blushed his heart would start hammering.

Navya:Sushanttt!!! Will you be serious for a change??

Sushant:Ok baba holding ears but seriously I have some important work.

Navya agreed and then all of them left.

It was 11 in the night and both Anant and Navya were sitting on the beach ,busy enjoying looking to the sea waves. Whole evening she didn't spoke only replied to what Anant asked and now too from last 15 minutes they didn't speak to each other. Earlier he took her to dinner at her favourite restaurant thinking that it would do some good to her but it didn't work. Suddenly it hits him that she loves the sound of sea so he took her there .And Anant was right as it created a lulling effect on her.

A cool breeze swept across making her shiver and Anant protectively wrapped his arms around her giving her warmth and she just leaned her head on his shoulder. He looked at her with smlie and then

'Navya??'

'Huh?'

'How are you feeling now?' and Navya looked at him in surprise thinking that how he can read her pain always.'

'Aise kya dekh rahi ho?'Anant said while brushing gently few tendrils of her hair that were coming on her face.

'Don't wrry Anant I am fine now.'

'Then should we go now as its getting very late?'

'Pls Anant thodi der aur.' Pleaded Navya and he nodded in yes with cute smile.

Navya: Anant isn't it beautiful?

'Yeah it's beautiful.' Anant kept starting at her angelic face and Navya looked at him with smile then she realized that he was talking about her. She can clearly see love and care for her in his eyes. Both lost in each other.Suddenly she reminds of something.

'Anant, can I ask you something?'

'Ofcourse Navya !!! yeh bhi koi puchne ki baat hai.'

Navya:Vo ...Anant tumharey saath vo ladaki kon thi? And Anant looked at her puzzled.

'I didn't understand Navya you are talking about which girl?'

'Now don't act smart tell me about her.'

'Seriously Navya mujhe nahi pata tum kya kah rahi ho.'

'I m asking about that girl you met at airport.'

'O you were asking about her? Anant exclaimed as that dawn upon his mind.' I don't know her. I was just coming and accidently bumped into her.' And Navya sighed in relief on hearing that.

'But how do you know?'Anant asked suddenly.

'Vo.. vo..I just came to check you.' Navya replied muffling with words.

Anant teased coming closer to her and then whispered in her ear 'Jealous?'

Suddenly Navya realize that he has caught her and said ' why should I?' try to cover up not quite looking into his eyes and Anant smiled on seeing possessive side of Navya.

'Really then say this looking into my eyes.'

Navya (irritated) Ananttt sach mein aise kuch nahi hai.

'Waise Navya... I lied to you she was my x-girlfriend.' Anant chuckled and her jaws dropped on hearing it and she started hitting him with her small fist.

'Ahh..Navya plz stop it. Lag jaye ge' And she just turned her face in anger making face.

Anant held her from shoulder and make her to face him.

'I know that you love me but this much that I never knew.' Anant said looking straight into her big hazels with intensity. She too looked into his eyes and she couldn't turn her gaze away and both of them were caught in magic spell and forget everything around them.

Anant moved closer to her and his hand started caressing navya's cheek. She felt thousand butterflies running in her stomach as his touch was truly magical. Then he started leaning closer to kiss her petals and Navya understood his intensions. She pushed him back and nodded no with smile. And before he could catch her she ran from there and showed him tongue while laughing.

Anant: Navya yeh cheating hai.

Navya giggled: I know Anant but everything is fair in love and war.

'Tumhe kya lagta I can't catch you.'Anant said while chasing her.

'Acha toh koshish kar ke dekh lo.'

Anant( to himself) just watch what I do.

Aahhh Navya!! Anant scream made Navya turn and she instantly rushed towards him forgetting everything when he saw him sitting down holding his foot.

'What happened Anant and how did you fall down?' Navya asked him.

But before Navya could understand anything he pulled her toward him resulting in landing on his lap and his arm wrapping around her waist making his grip tight.

'Ananttt Chodo muhje!!! So this was your trick.' She said while struggling to free herself.

'Hmmm.. ' nuzzling his face in her hairs.

'But this is cheating.' Making baby face.

'But you said na everything is fair in love and war.' Anant smirked and then Navya realized that she was trapped in her own words.
