-Chapter:40-

Anya decided to move inside after their hearty confession and birthday wishes. By now anant had convinced and made her ready to embrace the new life awaiting for her. Her mission was finally complete. She found her dad.

Navya: anant? he doesn't know about ma!

Anant suddenly stopped and looked at her confused.

Anant: what do u mean navya?

Navya: I meant that he doesn't know that ma isn't anymore!

Anant: oh my navya! How r u gonna tell this truth to him?

Navya: one minute! How did he find out that im his daughter even b4 I found this out?

Both of them looked at each other in astonishment! At the same time, Brijesh was shown moving to the backyard where it was isolated by thick bushes. He was despo waiting for someone when someone came there breaking his wait.

Brijesh: how much more money should I pay u to come on time mukesh?😲

It was navya's mukesh mama and he looked at brijesh with anger.

Mukesh: stop it brijesh! U have blackmailed me enough!

Brijesh: what? u called me name? till now u had enough courage to call me boss and now all of a sudden to name? oh u have the support of ur jiju Deepak rite?

Mukesh: don't bring my family into this brijesh! U have played with their lives enough! And not only that, u made me the culprit of their devastated lives as well

Brijesh: well yes mukesh! Poor u! always trapped in the game I was playing!

Mukesh was fuming in anger while Brijesh took the opportunity to add salt to the wound by recalling all the incidents from the past.

Past:

Brijesh was the spoilt brat son of the Bajpai family who lived in the rural Lucknow area. The family was famous for their ruthless behavior and superior behavior as they owned a whole village there. Brijesh's father was exactly like him while his uncle Shankar Dayal didn't like the bad customs and wrong beliefs of his family so left the house to seek his own life in a better way. Due to this, Brijesh was the only son of the house and power, money and everyone existed with him. Using the power he had, he started all sorts of illegal activities and one of them was drug supplies and connection with underworld. This is when Brijesh was deeply in deep of an assistant who could do majority of his illegal work and he found his bakra in Mukesh who was a poor guy looking for job that time. Since mukesh wasn't highly qualified, he thought he might help them initially but leave the job after earning some money to marry off his younger sisters to good men. But little did he know that he was entering a trap that would never set him free. Brijesh made mukesh do all the drug supplies and money transactions without his knowledge. Brijesh trapped mukesh in such a way that even if anyone is caught for the fraud work it would be Mukesh. So he blackmailed Mukesh with this and made him do this work for the sake of his sisters. His sisters Maya and Meetha never knew he worked for an underworld racket. Soon he got habituated to this coze this was helping him earn money for his family and his sisters were married to Dileep and Deepak.

However, things took an adverse turn when Dileep, who worked in one of Mukesh's companies found out about the whole drug supplies and Mukesh's involvement in it. Brijesh had sent Mukesh to warn Dileep from revealing this to anyone but he didn't know that Brijesh had instructed the goons with mukesh to stab Dileep. Dileep died b4 mukesh and the circumstance was such that anyone would feel that mukesh deliberately killed Dileep. He was trapped yet again. It was doctor devika who tried to investigate this case but mukesh tried to stop her coze ultimately he would be trapped for something he didn't do. Same happened with meetha when she found abt mukesh's drug supplies and all. The car which hit meetha was not sent by mukesh but brijesh. Mukesh only wanted meetha to stay away from all these matters.

Flashback ends and Brijesh gives out a loud laugh mocking mukesh. However, while narrating the story, what Brijesh and Mukesh didn't see was that Anant and navya was witnessing their whole flashback convo. Tears were rolling profusely from navya's eyes as she had to go through all those bad memories again. Anant held her hands to show that he was with her like always. Navya took a step ahead to face the duo but anant stopped.

Anant: no navya! Didn't u hear how dangerous brijesh kaka is? we have to think of something else than this!

Navya: but!

Anant: no questions navya! U stay here quietly while I get the whole family here and they too witness the truth!

Saying this, anant rushed inside and reached Deepak who was busy with a few guests!

Anant: uncle! Something really urgent come with me! I need to agther u all!

Soon, anant gathered maya, rithika, the bajpais and Ranbir-Appy with their family.

Anant: actually mukesh mama is outside speaking to brijesh chachu!

Ritika: what?he reached here? But how?

Maya: oh god! Now what shall we do?

But suddenly Deepak interrupted;

Deepak: actually I have a confession to make! I only brought mukesh here!

Anant, Maya and ritika together: what??

Deepak: yes coze I know that he is not responsible for Dileep and meetha's murders!

Anant gave a shocked look at him as he and navya had thought hat he is unaware of this.

Maya: what are u saying jiju?

Anant: maasi he is right! Just now navya and I heard their convo where brijesh chachu was confessing!

Deepak: really? that's exactly what we both wanted! Coze their convo is being recorded from the terrace of this house. Calling brijesh to that spot where they are now was a plan. Brijesh shouldn't have the slightest hint that he is being trapped!

Suddenly all of them including the guests were startled by the sound of a fun shot and loud female cry. Suddenly it struck to anant's mind that he had left navya outside! Without thinking anything, he loudly called out her name and rushed out of the house.

Anant: NAAVVYYAAA!

All were shocked yet again and hurried behind anant to check what exactly had happened outside. Anant was running at the top of his speed and he reached the spot where he had left her, but she wasn't there! All kinda bad thoughts were coming to his mind but he stopped them form affecting him and he rushed to where brijesh and mukesh were last seen. He was shocked at what he saw.

Navya lay on the ground with her face turned to the ground. A lill distance away was Mukesh who also wasn't moving at all. At the opposite side was Brijesh holding a revolver which was still pointed at their direction. After seeing anant there, he pointed it at him. Anant stood there lifeless as he couldn't believe that navya was on the floor. Was she indeed shot by a bullet? Brijesh was about to fire the bullet at anant when another bullet hit his hand and the revolver dropped from his hand. It was police. The constables rushed to Brijesh b4 he got a chance to escape. Anant ran to navya and took her in his arms and started calling her. He checked her for a bullet but didn't find any. Soon Navya regained consciousness and slowly got up.

Anant: I'm so happy to see u alright navya!

Navya: even I can't believe that I didn't get shot anant! Its coze of mamaji!

Suddenly he looked at Mukesh who was on the ground and rushed to him. A few constables came to him and made him to get up. He was unconscious but his injury was minor as he was shot by the shoulder. Navya took hold of his hands and thanked him.

Mukesh: no navya! I don't deserve this thanks! This wound is so less compared to the ones I have given u beta!

Navya had tears in her eyes as the constables handcuffed Mukesh. Maya and Ritika joined her and they hugged each other while Mukesh apologized to them for all the miseries they had due to him. B4 taken by the police, he says that he had chosen the wrong path for his family and finally he is leaving the responsibility to Deepak. Deepak comes forward and promises him that he will never allow any more problems hit their lives again. Deepak hands over the tape that had Brijesh's confession and they finally left. Everyone brought navya inside and anant was too anxious to know what had happened after he left.

Navya: after u went I tried to hide myself but I stamped on a big piece of stone and fell down bringing their attention to me! Both were shocked and mamaji signaled me to leave but Brijesh chachu caught hold of my hand. He said he knows I heard to the whole convo and now he cannot allow me to live. However, mamaji rushed to him and let go fo my hand. He told me to run away but brijesh pointed at me and I thought I'm shot but mamaji came in between and we both fell on the ground. I went unconscious due to the sudden shock.

Deepak: im glad ur fine now beta! I think I should have warned u all in advace abt this plan we had in mind

Navya: so u were in contact with amamji all this time?

Deepak was silent but decided to tell the truth!

Deepak: yes I was! Infact I was in cantact with him for all these years! But my guilt wasn't allowing me to confront u!

Navya: what guilt papa?

Deepak's face lit with the word "papa" and he proceeded.

Deepak: actually i was so blind with my dreams that I overlooked my family for this! I even left u and meetha for those dreams! I thought once when I complete the dream and become successful, I'll bring u and meetha back in my life! But destiny didn't allow this and snatched meetha from me! I didn't have the courage to face u my dear! I used to get all info abt u from mukesh and decided to stay away from ur lives as a punishment for me.

Navya hugged Deepak and scolded him for not coming to her all these years. She added that she always wanted him beside her and no matter what he did, he was her father. Shankar Dayal interrupted and asked them to talk the rest after they got home and for now complete the celebrations of navya's b'day. Anant and others also agreed. Navya wiped off her tears and all proceeded to the big balck forest cake that was awaiting for him. Navya was so excited seeing her favorite cake. She looked at Deepak and b4 she said anything he nodded and said

Deepak: yes navya! Mukesh always used to tell me how ur crazy for black forest😆

Navya laughed and she took the knife and cut it while everyone sang the birthday song. She took out a piece and gave to Deepak but he signaled her to feed maya first coze till now she was her mother and father, took all the responisbilies that he had to fulfill. Navya agreed and fed maya the cake though she kept protesting to give Deepak first.

After that she gave ritika and then to anant. Anant made an angry lill baby face as he got the cake lastly.

Navya: uff sometimes I wonder if I'm gonna get married to a lill stubborn baby😆

Anant: really? let we get married first then I'll tell u if I'm seriously a baby or not😉

Navya teased him off and went to serve cake to others

-Chapter:41-

It was almost 2 when the Bajpais and Ahujas (ranbir and appy's family) left the farm house(party venue). After all the guests were gone, navya gave Deepak a good hug and left to their apartment, promising him that they will shift to his mansion the very next day. As said, Navya, Maya and ritika shifted to the Mishra Mansion the next day. The mansion was so big yet so refreshing and homely already. All the three ladies had different rooms and they luved it to the core.

Almost a week later…….

It was a bright summer morning and Navya came out of the washroom after the shower. The hair was still dripped wet and she removed her towel from the hair and moved it back.

"ahh every morning with this fresh droplets of water from ur hair will make my day"

A chill went down navya's spine as she felt a human presence in her room and a male voice. But soon she relaxed as she recognized his voice! B4 event turning……

Navya: anant…..

She turned and found Anant resting peacefully resting on her bed with a 100 volt smile on his face.

Anant: good morning!

Navya: good morning anant…but what are u doing in my room so early in the morning? did anyone see u coming here?😕

Anant: yeah! Deepak uncle!

Navya: really? and he allowed u? but anant we r not yet married! So pls don't do this!

Anant: don't worry meri jaan! If not married then we shall very soon!

Navya: matlab?

Anant: the entire family will reach here any minute; we are having breakfast together navya!

Navya: but papa didn't tell this!

Anant: it was a surprise buddhu!

Navya: then why did u break it b4 they came?😆

Anant: uncle felt sorry for u and asked me to tell u! waise bhi u have to impress my family na? go and cook breakfast for us!

Navya: what? but…

Anant: navya u don't know how to cook? very bad navya; how will u manage the food of all the family members then?

Navya: anant i…

Anant pretending to be over dramatic: no navya! i thought u will succeed in impressing my family!

Suddenly anant felt that navya isn't falling in his acting and sees her busy folding a few suits.

Anant: navya im serious! U need to make the breakfast!

Navya: common anant! I don't know cooking so I don't need to do all these to impress them!

Anant: but!

Navya: chup anant….now go as I have to dress up!

Anant: toh karlo I have no problems!

Navya: shut up anant……leave😆

Anant leaves the room but stresses that its bad that she isn't cooking. In about half an hour, the Bajpais reached Mishra mansion and anant was already there chatting with Deepak and Ritika. Deepak welcomed them and all were settled in the living room. Navya came out and greeted everyone and sat beside anant.

Anant: u seriously didn't make breakfast na😔

Navya: chup anant! I said na! I don't know to cook!

They all talked various matters and even abt a suitable date for the wedding. In a while, all shifted to the dining table where food was served. It contained pooris, bhaji and kheer. All were highly impressed by the food and joked that after navya and the other ladies have moved to the house, they are getting some good food to have.

Maya: why not? My navya cooks amazing food! Even she has prepared this breakfast for u! she was telling that she didn't know that u all are coming and in this short notice she could only do this.

Navya looked at anant and gave and evil smirk and she could see how shocked yet happy anant was.

Om laughing: this is amazing beta! I was thinking if we had given u time then what would u serve us😆

After the food was done, they called up the pandit who checked anya's kundli's and said that there is an amazing date after 2 weeks. The Bajpais decided to fix the date as they had already delayed this wedding for so long. Even Deepak was elated and all were rejoicing.

Navya: ill bring juice to celebrate this moment.

Saying this, she left after which without doubts, anant followed her😆Navya was already in the kitchen and once he reached there, he closed the door.

Navya: what are u doing anant?open the door!😡

Anant: first u tell me why did u lie to me that u don't knoe cooking?

Navya: I felt like joking!

Anant: and I was serious!

Navya: oho when did anant Bajpai become so serious?

Anant looked at navya and moved close to her. Navya suddenly stopped laughing and moved back as she felt that anant isn't joking anymore.

Navya: anant! What are u….

Anant: I became serious abt things the day I came across u navya! Be it either through online chatting or meeting u in Kanpur!

Navya smiled and hugged him. Anant hugged her back and suddenly remembered abt his incomplete kiss, yet again😆

Anant: navya meri kiss!

Navya: kya? No ways!

He pulled her close with the determination to complete it this time. Too unlucky Mr. Bajpai he was, as yet again navya escaped. They were close to the sink and navya took water from there and splashed onto his face and he was shocked😆

Navya laughing hard: Mr. Bajpai remember how the fountain interrupted ur kiss last time? This time it's the sink water…..

Anant came to the normal state in a few minutes to realize what exactly happened. She could still hear the sweet laughter of his love, life and fianc….

He too started laughing thinking how he was missing each chance

Anant: Mrs Bajpai! Lemme see how long u will escape from me!😉
