'How are you Beta! How did the scanning go?'

'Good ma. Everything is fine'

'I called you to tell you that tomorrow I am coming to Bangalore. Your daddy has strictly ordered me to be with you till delivery. And your baby shower is also there next month'

Anant's mother is very caring and keeps calling Navya to ask about her and her health. Navya has become very close to her, closer than her own. His mom listens to Navya very patiently when she complains about her mood swings and then gives the best of solutions. She is a perfect example of a good mother-in-law.

Anant came angrily near Navya while she was talking on phone and suddenly realized that it's won't be good for her if he shows his anger and said 'Come let's go from here'

'What happened Anant! Why are looking upset?' she asked as even though he was trying his best to hide, it was showing clearly in his eyes and she can read his eyes very clearly.

'Nothing! I need to hurry up to office'

She was still not convinced and when they started to leave she looked back to the cabin where he came from and found Dr. Shalini coming out looking at him with a disturbed face.

'So, does it mean that she is the one? Or else why his mood will suddenly change? Why will she come out of the room looking at him with worried face?' all these questions were occupying her mind leaving her more and more puzzled.

While going back home, Anant was not uttering even a single word. His concentration was fully on the road. Navya is not sure whether to ask him or not. She grabbed some courage and quickly asked 'Did you meet Dr. Shalini today?'

'Dr. Shalini?' he asked 'Who is she? I met Dr. Jahanvi not Shalini'

Navya is puzzled again. Why is saying this? She herself has seen Dr. Shalini coming out of the cabin. Why is he lying to me?

'Mama is coming tomorrow' she said

'Oh is it. Good. Jaan chutegi meri, for few days' he said giggling to which Navya hits him on his arm. He is relaxed a bit to see her smiling. But he doesn't know by saying this he has called problems for himself as it made her think 'Did he mean that?'

At night Navya and Anant are lying on the bed looking at the fan moving round and round with Navya holding her bulgy tummy and Anant holding his flat one. Anant faced towards her and started adoring her silently with his mesmerizing smile.

'Anant! Can I ask you something?' and looked at him.

'Why are you asking for permission? Of course'

'Will you leave be and go?'

The smile on his face turned to astonishment and he asked 'Why are you asking this'

'You only said in the morning "Jaan chootegi meri" when I said about mom'

'Navya! It was just a joke. How can you take that seriously?'

'Sometimes the things which are inside our mind comes out when we joke'

Now this is something which Anant didn't like. He said 'Navya as I said, it was only a joke. And you know very well that I cannot live without you'

'Who knows' she said in a tautly.

Now Anant got more pissed off and turned to other side and switched of his bed lamp. Navya also got angry and slowly turned to other side holding her tummy and switched off the light on her side.

Morning also they were not talking to each other. Navya came out of the bathroom wearing her white bathrobe after a shower and sat on the bed with her legs up and took the moisturizer from her side table. She took out some cream on her left hand and applied on her hands and arms. Anant was getting ready for office and quietly peeping on what is Navya doing. Navya is also doing the same thing without he noticing it. Though they madly want to end the fight and hug each other tightly, their ego is coming in between which is not letting them do that.

'Ouch' she shouted while trying to put cream on her legs as due to her tummy she is not able to. Anant ran and went near her sitting on the bed and asked 'Are you ok?'

Now, how come mam will miss this chance of showing? She turned her neck towards her right side and didn't reply anything. Anant thought there is no use and took the moisturizer from her hand and started applying on her beautiful and soft legs. He was confused, who needs whom, her skins needs the cream or cream need her skin as her skin is flawless and doesn't need any artificial touch. While putting, he was not looking at her and his hand slowly went a bit up towards her thigh which gave her a sudden tickle and she looked at him and said 'Ho' and he couldn't control himself and bursted out laughing. She too joined him after a short pause and she very well know it was not accidental.

'Ouch' she screamed again holding her tummy to which he asked 'What happened'

'He kicked'

'See! She gave you punishment for fighting with me'

Hearing this she took the pillow and threw on him but he got up and escaped.

The bell rang and Navya went to open the door to see her mother-in-law.

'Hello mama' she greeted with a happy face and let her came inside. Anant also got in with her caring her suitcase'

'How are you beta!' his mom asked and kissed her forehead to which she replied 'I am good mama. How was your flight?'

She went near the sofa and sat on it with Navya besides and said 'It was good beta. But it was too boring to come alone'. She is too talkative and always wants people around.

While having lunch with Navya preparing special gobi ka paratha with raita. His mom was going on and on taking about what all happened in Delhi after they came from marriage. Navya was looking a bit lost though she was trying her best to pay attention to what her mother-in-law was saying. While talking something she suddenly asked something to her but 'From when she is going on leave from office' to which Navya replied 'Yes'

'Yes? But I am asking from when are you on leave?'

Suddenly Navya came back to her senses and replied 'Oh! From next month'

Anant's mom sensed that there is something else going on in her mind and asked 'Anything wrong?'

'No nothing mama' trying hard to hide but then asked 'do you know Shalini?'

'Shalini? Who is Shalini? I don't know. Why?'

Navya felt strange as how come his mother doesn't know about her as he said he revolted against his family. But to reply her question he said 'Anant's friend'

'Anant's friend? He never mentioned about any friend called Shalini'

The mobile rang kept on the dining table and a landline. It seems like the clinic number with a difference in the last two digits.

'Hello!' the voice called 'I am Dr.Shalini speaking'

'Hello!' Navya replied

'Actually I called you to say that you had left your shawl in the scanning room today'

'Oh! Is it. No problem, I will collect it tomorrow. Thanks for informing' and was about to hung up but then Shalini said 'Wait! I..I wanted to know how is Anant, I mean Mr.Bajpai now?'

'He is fine! Why are you asking?'

Shalini realized that Anant wouldn't have told her anything, so she decided to say 'Nothing. Just asked'

Navya felt very strange as why she is asking about Anant now. What happened? He was looking tensed after coming back from the cabin. I have to find out today. No matter what happens
