Karan Kundra gets into the skin of SRK's character from the movie Veer Zaara.
There is no doubt that television actors are immensely popular, with fans eager to know every titbit about their favourite stars. With that in mind, perhaps, Channel V will soon launch a new reality-style show called The Serial.
The show will showcase the real lives of TV stars — focussing on their careers, relationships, emotions, love affairs, work pressures and fans. "Everything will be covered, as it will be the reality of Indian television. We are going to show the good, bad and ugly side of the TV world," says actor Karan Kundra, who stars in the show. Other than Karan, his ex girlfriend Kritika Kamra, Pooja Gor (of Pratigya) and her boyfriend Raj Singh Arora (of Remix), Sara Khan and Soumya Seth (from Navya) will also star in the series.
"The show will be a dramatised version of our real lives, focussing on our insecurities at work, struggles in life, how people look up to TV stars and feel that they have it all but are unaware of the reality. We will focus on how the TV industry works and what actually happens behind the scenes. Every week, many of our friends will feature on the show as well," adds Kundra.
Two promos of the show are already on air. In one of them, Kritika and Karan talk about their spilt, while in the other, Vikrant talks about how Karan became more successful than him. After their break-up, will Kritika still work with Karan? "For that you will have to wait and watch," says Karan mysteriously.
