Hey friends thank you all for all the lovely comments and here i am back with the second part of the RS.. but the thing is that the RS is a bit long so I had to divide the RS into five parts.. i will update the next few parts soon..
THE FAREWELL GIFT--PART 2
Now Anant stood in front of Navya facing her, looking at her closely while she looked away. Anant spoke again, "Do you know Navya why I will miss this place so much??"
Navya was silent still.. "its because of one person... its because of you, its because of Navya.. "
As he said this Navya looked up at him. She stood speechless with a blank expression. "Navya for the last few weeks all i could think of was you. All my thoughts revolved around the fact that after college ends I wont be able to meet you any more."
Navya kept looking at him as he turned away and continued speaking "I have never ever felt this way before, never ever felt so helpless, so scared. The thought of not being able to see you smile everyday makes me feel helpless, the thought of not being able to meet you daily...the thought of staying away from you makes me feel scared.. You know Navya I have never felt this way for anybody... any girl before.. I never even cared to look around at any girl before par pata nahi tumne kya kar diya ke main chah ke vi tumse dur nahi reh saka.."
Now Anant turned to face Navya again. He looked into her eyes and said, "Navya I dont know how you feel about me.. But I know how I feel about you.. From the day I have met you things have changed in my life and you are responsible for this change.. I feel happier like never before...free-er like never before.. I feel--I feel beautiful.."
All this while as Anant spoke Navya looked into his eyes. she was speechless still..
"Navya its a beautiful feeling and i wanted to share how I feel with you because its you who has gifted this feeling to me.. I wanted to tell you this before... before it was late..." Anant turned away and continued, "kyunki pata nahi kalse hum aise mile na mile... pata nahi phir aise baat ho na ho.. Aj tak tumse milne ke liye bahane nahi banane padte the shayad kalse banane pade.. shayad kalse... kalse..." Anant stopped abruptly... he had tears in his eyes.. he dint want Navya to see this.. he wiped his tears away...
Anant now turned to face Navya again.. he looked straight into her eyes.. her innocent eyes.. the eyes that gave him the courage to feel how he feels for her today despite knowing that such feelings are condemned in his orthodox family.. knowing very well that his feelings might lead to brawls and arguments and that no one might eventually back him and his decision.. But he did not care.. all he needed to do today was tell Navya that all he cared for was her.. all he wanted was her.. he knew he had to confess to her that she was the one for whom he could do anything.. anything.. even fight the world...
"I Love You, Navya!! "
After Anant professed his love for Navya a deep silence prevailed.. Both kept looking into each others eyes for how long no one knows.. The silence was broken by the ringing of Anant's phone.. this unexpected sound made them both come out of the trance that they seemed to be in.. Anant looked at his phone.. the call was from Ranbir..
"Hello" Anant answered the call..
"Where are you and Navya?? its getting late yaar.. party is also gonna wind up in some time.. we will be leaving soon.. kahan ho??" said Ranbir from the other side..
"Haan woh hum.. hum bas yahin hain.. aa rahe hain.." replied Anant and then hung up the call..
"Ranbir had called they are waiting for us, lets go.." said Anant to Navya but didnot look into her eyes this time.. he started moving towards the auditorium now..
"Dont you want to know my answer??" said Navya..
Anant stopped and looked back at Navya.. She was looking at him but Anant couldn't read her expressions..
