Sajjan Singh who plays the role of a villian on small screen charmed the people just like a Hero on Monday. The event "Aapka Star Aapke Shaher" (your star in your city) organised by a particlar channel had many other television celebrities but people were crazed by presence of Anupan Shyam aka Sajjan Singh from "Pratigya". People were going crazy to get his glimpses, pics, to hear from him and to meet him. Even Anupan Shaym was overwhelmed by this response. The event was organised in Lohia Park along with Parvati Sehgal who plays his daughter Komal and Navya serials lead characters Somya Seth who plays Navya and Shaheer Sheikh who plays Anant were also present.
Anupam has old relations with Lucknow. He had studied in Bhartendu Natya Academy and had spent many years in Lucknow. While praising Lucknow he said "Aee Shehere Lucknow, Tujhko mera slaam. Tera hi naam dusra jannat ka naam" (I Salute you City of Lucknow, You are next to Heaven). He told the press representative that he tries and loves to get into the skin of the character he plays. He also mentioned that he has an upcoming movie named 'Pranam Waalekkum". On this ocassion he cited many incidents.
Parvati, Soumya and Anant who were also present at the event, while praising the city said that Lucknow is a beautiful city. We have never seen so many smiling faces together. All the celebrities entertained the audience with their talks. Later people were also treated to "Nautanki". The celebrities also visited other places in the city and also enjoyed sweets from Famous Sweet Shops of the city.
